CFB 2031 Regular Season, Week 3 - Stanford Stadium, Palo Alto, California

No. 3 Cardinal pounce on Buckeyes, cruise to 42-21 win over No. 12 Ohio State
From Alfonso Bramble's touchdown to kick the game off to Richard Caussin's first interception, Stanford Stadium felt like a powder keg waiting to explode.

Rashawn Crouse's 76-yard touchdown run at the buzzer of the first half was the match, turning Palo Alto into a complete frenzy as the Cardinal would cruise to a 42-21 win over No. 12 Ohio State for their second ranked win in consecutive weeks.

Stanford never looked like a home underdog, jumping out to an early 21-0 lead and even after Henry Delos struck gold with a 74-yard completion to Lee Wonnum, Stanford responded with a 54-yard touchdown run by Anthony Masifilo to put the rout back on.

The definitive moment of the game, however, came in the final of the first half after Masifilo scored his second touchdown to make it 35-14 with a minute left. Ohio State was driving thanks to a 22-yard run by Kevonne Cook but with the ball on the Stanford 47-yard line and with forty seven seconds left, Caussin would record his second interception off Ohio State's Henry Delos.

Delos, who Stanford pursued in the offseason, threw four interceptions.

Stanford seemed to be trying to run the clock out when Ohio State called a timeout on third and fourteen, trying to get the ball back. Instead, Crouse ripped off the 76-yard touchdown to extend a lead that the Buckeyes were unable to overcome.

This segregation era football is doing wonders for you. Man up here using four running backs every game. Just go Wing T at this point.

Feels like your possession time must be insane to get all those carries for your RBs. Dominant victory for you (and my bets).

Not really, 26 min compared to 22 for Ohio State

We average around 65-70 plays and at least 35-40 are going to be runs so 8-15 across the board
