MAJOR CHANGES FOR 2030 AND BEYOND!!!
With he return of the Pac-12/14/16 in 2026, NCAA commish Bryan Jungling announced major changes to the the College Football as Oregon, USC, UCLA, Washington, Arizona State, Arizona, Colorado and Utah returned to the Westcoast with Mountain West Champion Boise State, BYU, Fresno State, San Diego State, Colorado State joined Oregon State an Washington to form new Pac-16... The merger allowed the Pacific Coast Conference a chance to return to the elite status Power 5.
Since the arrival of the College Football Playoffs in 2024, Jungling has had 1 goal. He want's to see the best battle it out each and every year for a chance to be crowned National Champion.. Now it's time to shake things up and Jungling first stop was the SEC..
SEC Football has always ben considered the Elite of the Elite claiming #1 in the Power 5 with the Big Ten staking claim to #2 with the Big 12/ACC/Pac-12 fighting for their spot in the rankings and in the past several season we have seen the ACC lose that battle over and over.. But Jungling has a plan to help the ACC regain a foothold and push it's counter-part the Pac-12 who in the past 2 years have sent 3 teams to the CFP well the ACC has managed just 1 team and that plan starts with a major shakeup in the SEC..
Georgia and Florida have played in 4 of the last 5 SEC Championships against each other but that will change in 2030 as both schools are leaving the SEC for the ACC forming a new ACC South along with Florida State... Here is a look at the new
