‣ Huskies lose Hopkins once more, Berrios sidelined with dislocated elbow

Toronto Huskies tight end Brycen Hopkins' return was short lived as the tight end injured his shoulder on his second catch and is expected to miss the rest of the regular season.

As is the case for wide receiver Braxton Berrios, who was placed on injured reserve with a dislocated elbow. Berrios, who caught just four passes in 2021, had a surprising season with 50 catches for 762 yards and four touchdowns as he replaced wide receiver Rondale Moore who is expected to be back in the lineup for the season finale.

The team signed wide receiver Kendrick Rogers from their practice squad to replace Berrios' roster spot and are hopeful that Hopkins will be available in the playoffs.

‣ Playoff scenarios for Huskies heading into week 17

The Toronto Huskies will make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. Who they will play one they get there, however, is still up for grabs.

With the loss last week and the two losses to Dallas, the Huskies are now stuck at the fifth seed and cannot get any higher even if with a win vs. Houston. The Huskies, however, can slip to the sixth seed if they lose and the New Orleans Saints win.

With a Huskies win vs. Houston, Toronto could be looking at a rematch with the Minnesota Vikings or the Atlanta Falcons, depending on if the Vikings win and the Falcons lose.
