Montezuma's Revenge | San Diego State Aztecs
Hey Guys. I have made the decision to end this dynasty, I have played another 3 games that haven’t been posted but I’m just not feeling them anymore. I have changed playbooks and everything but honestly every game feels the same.
I will retire from SDSU with fond memories, especially of Trey White, Jason Mitchell, Coco Hemphill, Mike Cribbs, Vince Kenyon and my own black Muamba (Ben Muamba)
I’m thinking about another team in a power 4 conference, either Oklahoma State, Iowa State or Missouri. I have been messing around with a OSU one and recruiting is no joke against the big guys.

Great shortlist — all solid programs with some potential for a fun and rewarding Dynasty mode in NCAA Football 25. Here’s a breakdown of each, followed by a recommendation:
⸻
1. Oklahoma State (Big 12)
• Pros: Solid recruiting base (Texas), recent competitive success, strong brand.
• Cons: You’re in the same conference as some rising programs (Utah, Kansas State, Arizona, etc.), which could make for a crowded race.
• Dynasty Angle: You could easily turn them into a playoff regular within a few years with the right moves.
2. Iowa (Big Ten)
• Pros: Great defense identity, stable program, Big Ten prestige helps recruiting.
• Cons: Offensive scheme is notoriously boring in real life—might be frustrating in-game unless you overhaul it.
• Dynasty Angle: Turning Iowa into an offensive powerhouse could be a fun challenge.
3. North Carolina (ACC)
• Pros: Great pipeline state (North Carolina), good uniforms, and high ceiling with their recent recruiting success.
• Cons: ACC can be top-heavy (FSU, Clemson), and UNC struggles with consistency.
• Dynasty Angle: Build them into a consistent national contender—think “basketball school takes over football.”
4. Missouri (SEC)
• Pros: SEC exposure, recent resurgence, and great pipelines in Missouri and bordering states.
• Cons: Brutal SEC schedule—might take longer to break through.
• Dynasty Angle: Proving Mizzou belongs in the SEC by winning the conference is a great long-term challenge.
5. Iowa State (Big 12)
• Pros: Underdog story, good development culture.
• Cons: Tough to recruit nationally, less prestige to start with.
• Dynasty Angle: Turn a perennial underdog into a Big 12 powerhouse—a long build, but rewarding.
⸻
Best Option Overall: North Carolina
UNC strikes a great balance between challenge and reward. You get solid recruiting ground, unique branding, and the chance to take a school with high potential to national prominence. Plus, ACC schedules can be more forgiving than the SEC or Big Ten.
Runner-Up: Missouri — more difficult path, but the SEC grind makes success that much sweeter.
Want a tougher rebuild or an easier rise to power?

You're not going to wait on CFB26? I'd pick Mizzou or Iowa from that list.
