Big win, and just peeped how your defensive end is on the Heisman watchlist. Those numbers are nuts.

‣ CFB 2025 ACC Championship Game - Bank of America Stadium, Charlotte, North Carolina
(10-2, 6-2 ACC) #5 Miami Hurricanes at #6 Virginia Tech Hokies (11-1, 7-1 ACC)
MIA | 3 | 14 | 7 | 24 | 48
VT | 0 | 7 | 10 | 15 | 32
Miami routs Virginia Tech once more to make convincing case for top seed following ACC Championship
Jacory Harris. Brad Kaaya. D'Eriq King. Cam Ward. They've all tried, they've all failed to bring home that elusive ACC Championship.
A scrappy, unassuming quarterback from Milton, Florida got it done.
Emory Williams showed he was more than just a check down artist, breaking away from a would-be sack and completing a 47-yard strike to Joshisa Trader down the field to set up the first of two consecutive Miami touchdowns to pull away from Virginia Tech and cruise to a 48-32 victory on Saturday to win the program's first ever ACC Championship.
Williams bounced back from an early interception which allowed Virginia Tech to score their first points of the game before the half but with twelve seconds left, Williams found Sam Brown across the middle who got away from two defenders to score on the 69-yard touchdown to go into halftime up 17-7.
It was a career day for Williams who threw for a career high 340 yards.
The Hokies would make it a three point game before Williams' electric escape from the pocket to extend a drive that ended with a Mark Fletcher touchdown to extend the lead back to ten. Kyron Drones would throw a pick six to Wesley Bissainthe to open the fourth quarter and throw two more interceptions in the final ten minutes of the game, both to Kamari Wilson, one of which was returned for a touchdown.

TCU Horned Frogs Eye Miami’s Shannon Dawson for Head Coach Role
Jessica West -- SI.com
TCU has scheduled an interview with Miami Hurricanes’ offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson for their head coach opening. This development comes as TCU looks to inject new energy and strategic innovation into their team following a challenging season and the firing of Sonny Dykes.
Dawson, who joined Miami in 2023, has quickly made a name for himself with his dynamic offenses in Coral Gables. Under his guidance, the Hurricanes’ offense has shown significant improvement, showcasing a balanced attack that leverages both the air raid and a strong running game. Dawson’s ability to adapt and evolve his play-calling has been a key factor in Miami’s offensive success, making him a prime candidate for head coaching positions.
The interview with Dawson is expected to take place later this week, with TCU officials keen to explore his vision for the program. Sources close to the situation indicate that Dawson’s innovative approach and his ability to develop quarterbacks are particularly appealing to TCU’s decision-makers.
