PIERSON BEATS THE DEFENSE DEEP IN THE FOURTH QUARTER

Once again it was close but not quite enough for Kansas as they fell to Baylor by a score of 20-31 at home. Kansas could not overcome five turnovers to secure the win. Michael Cummings took over at quarterback after halftime and outplayed Jake Heaps, leaving the Kansas coaching staff with a tough decision to make.
