Jefferson over, Titans to cover, may as well take the over as well.

‣ NFL 2027 Regular Season, Week 1 - SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California
(1-0) Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers (0-1)

TEN | 7 | 7 | 7 | 10 | 31
LAC | 0 | 17 | 7 | 3 | 27

Titans Rally Late, Beat Chargers 31–27 on Sunday Night
The Los Angeles Chargers might have won the middle eight but the Tennessee Titans won the final eight, overcoming a sloppy end of the first half and demoralizing start to the second half to rally back and beat the Chargers 31-27 on Sunday night in Inglewood.

The Titans had a missed 58-yard field goal by Brandon Aubrey and a Cam Ward interception within a minute of game time to allow the Chargers to kick a late field goal to take the 17-14 lead at the half and then opened the second half with a fourteen play drive that took up over half of the quarter and ended with a ricochet touchdown pass to Hunter Henry from Justin Herbert.

Tennessee would respond with a drive of their own, led by an unlikely hero in Damien Martinez who picked up fifty yards on six carries to make it 24-21 entering the fourth quarter.

After a Cameron Dicker field goal to make it a six point game, Ward would have completions of twenty seven and twenty five yards on the first drive of the fourth, the latter going to Mark Fletcher Jr. for the go ahead touchdown with nine minutes left.

Aubrey would amend for his earlier miss with a 55-yard field goal with 3:32 left to extend the lead to four. Herbert would get the Chargers within striking range with completions of 23 and 25 yards to Treylon Burks and Henry but reigning Defensive Player of the Year Zaire Franklin would make to back to back key players -- a pass breakup on second down and a sack on third down -- to present the Chargers with fourth and sixteen from the Titans 38-yard line with 1:19 left and just one timeout which resulted in a pass to Najee Harris out of the backfield that was broken up.

Really thought we lost it after that missed field goal, interception, Chargers field goal and long 2nd half opening drive

6 catches for 80 and TD is a bad first game now? crazy work.

the flow of the game took him out of it a bit, especially since we had like three possessions in the 2nd half and one of them was almost exclusively martinez and the other was a quick drive with two splash plays

not worried.

Winning at the Chargers is serious work in week one. JJ getting his first TD out of the way right away.
