James Fernandez, Eric Incoom among four Miami juniors to enter the NFL Draft

As expected, the Miami Hurricanes' all-time leading receiver Jeremiah Smith, who was eligible for a fifth season due to injury, has declared for the NFL Draft. Joining Smith in the draft is juniors WR Eric Incoom and linebackers Cam Pruitt and James Fernandez.

Incoom and Fernandez are true juniors while Smith and Pruitt would have been returning for a fifth season. Incoom saw his role expand this past season, leading the Hurricanes with thirteen touchdowns. He also finished second on the team in yards with 737, trailing only Smith.

Fernandez, a former five-star, was an All-American with twenty tackles for loss, two interceptions and three pass breakups. The ideal modern linebacker with his combination of size and speed, Fernandez is a projected first round pick along with Smith.

Pruitt and Incoom are projected as early Day 2 guys.
