Bulldogs' Jaleel Mosley would like to be a head coach 'at some point'
Darrell Mack
November 30, 2029, 12:02 PM ET
STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State Bulldogs offensive coordinator Jaleel Mosley said he would like to be a head coach but declined to say if that meant this offseason.
"At some point," Mosley said when asked about his desire to be a head coach. "We'll see how everything plays out, but I'm very happy here."
Mosley has been linked to potential openings at Cincinnati, Oklahoma State and West Virginia. MSU head coach G.J. Kinne shared earlier this month that the school was working on an extension for Mosley, which Mosley declined to comment on when asked about it.
ESPN's Kliff Cronin reported that the extension would increase Mosley's buy-out, specifically targeted towards other SEC programs. Arkansas could have a potential opening if they decide to move on from head coach Ryan Silverfield, which the school's board is slated to meet to discuss his future later this week.
Mosley has also been widely viewed as a top target for Texas should they bring in an experienced play-caller to aid Steve Sarkisian, who is expected to return as head coach.

Idk but it feels like a weak slate this year, especially with that bummy receiver winning the Heisman.
LSU crumbling like that hurts my spirit.
