Steelers, Ravens, and Cowboys all dogshit? This is hilarious. Sucks that Lamb and Parsons are stuck in purgatory though

weird thing is the Cowboys benched Dak for this rookie 2nd rounder, who is 6 overall below Dak. But then, started Dak for this game :pgdead:

I mean, we went to back to back Super Bowls with the same core and the only thing missing is the superstar 2x MVP. So if we can get someone to do half of what AR could, we're right there again

Steelers' Offensive Ineptitude Continues In Narrow Loss

Image
Down 13-7, Garnder Minshew had a chance to play hero. Instead, he threw his third interception of the day on perhaps the ugliest throw of his career.

Pittsburgh, PA. - The losses keep piling up in Pittsburgh, and the common thread running through every single one of them has a name.

Gardner Minshew threw three interceptions Sunday afternoon at Acrisure Stadium, including two in the fourth quarter that turned a winnable game into a 19-14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys; Pittsburgh's fourth consecutive defeat that drops the Steelers to 5-8 and all but extinguishes whatever playoff hopes remained heading into December.

The afternoon started promisingly enough. Quinshon Judkins slashed through the Dallas defense for a 37-yard touchdown on Pittsburgh's opening drive, and when Dak Prescott—making a surprising start after riding the bench behind rookie Pat Madsen for the majority of the season—struggled to generate anything early, it briefly appeared the Steelers might finally have found the spark they needed to snap their skid. Dallas adjusted at halftime, committing to stopping the run, and Minshew was left to win the game with his arm.

He was not up to the task.

The first turnover came in the second quarter—a badly overthrown crossing route intended for DK Metcalf that a Cowboys defensive back turned into easy yardage before Jaydon Blue punched in a 15-yard touchdown run to level the score at seven. Dallas scraped together a field goal late in the third to take a slim lead, and the stage was set for the fourth quarter to decide things.

It decided them in the worst possible way for Pittsburgh.

Minshew was intercepted again on another overthrow to Metcalf midway through the fourth, Revel Jr. making the play to end a drive that could have given Pittsburgh the lead. Dallas converted the subsequent possession into a field goal to push the margin to six, and the Steelers appeared to be running out of time.

Then Cooper DeJean created one last opportunity. With Dallas driving to put the game away, DeJean met Prescott at the edge of the pocket on a scramble attempt and leveled him, jarring the ball loose for Joey Porter Jr. to recover. Pittsburgh had the ball, under two minutes, down six, with a chance to steal it.

Minshew responded with arguably the worst throw of his afternoon—a pass that sources close to the team say wasn't even directed at the correct route, with Metcalf cutting inside while Minshew targeted the curl he apparently expected. Revel Jr. needed no invitation, stepping in front for his second interception of the quarter and returning it 38 yards to effectively seal the outcome. A failed two-point conversion left Dallas ahead 19-7, and although Minshew rallied for a late 28-yard touchdown strike to rookie Gabe Gomez with 36 seconds remaining, the onside kick was recovered and the Cowboys kneeled out one of their four wins of the season.

Scheelhaase was visibly frustrated at the postgame podium.

"Mistakes happen," he said firmly, "but when we're overthrowing receivers by five yards consistently, that isn't mistakes. That's lack of execution. When we're throwing balls to the wrong spot, that's lack of execution. It simply can't happen."

Scheelhaase stopped short of announcing a quarterback change, but sources inside the building told ESPN the mood after the final interception was one of barely contained disbelief. At 5-8 with four games remaining, the window to salvage anything meaningful from the 2028 season is closing fast.

Pittsburgh hosts the 6-7 New York Giants next week looking to snap a four game losing streak.

assuming AR gets locked up, hopefully still a decent QB available for you in the draft by the time you're picking
