Players to Watch
QB Nate Denson (Fr) | 6′2", 212LBS | 74 OVR, 73 SPD, 83 ACC, 92 THP, 84 SAC, 80 MAC, 77 DAC
‣ Denson has had some big time performance for the Bears with ten touchdowns in his first two games as well as four touchdowns against Boise State. He's also been prone to mistakes and isn't the most accurate quarterback in the world, completing just 49 percent of his passes this season. The Stanford defense is getting healthy, especially in the secondary, and should be able to make Denson uncomfortable.
LB Maurice Mamula (R-Sr) | 6′3", 229LBS | 90 OVR, 88 SPD, 93 ACC, 88 PRC, 87 TKL, 87 BSH, 71 MCV, 91 ZCV
‣ Mamula had twelve tackles and five tackles for loss in the matchup last season and was all over the field for the Golden Bears. He'll need to come up with some splash plays in the running game to slow down Stanford's offense as well as patrol the middle of the field where Rodney Cookus has been effective all year long.
CB David Ogunjobi (Fr) | 5′10", 196LBS | 74 OVR, 88 SPD, 90 ACC, 87 COD, 79 MCV, 75 ZCV, 68 PRESS
‣ Cookus had three touchdowns against Cal last year, including a highlight reel grab where he leaped over a defender, broke through a tackle and kept his balance as he went into the endzone. The true freshman from Hawaii has been a ballhawk for the Bears with five interceptions but gave up six catches against Liberty last week. Stanford will test him early and often.

After switching to the sliders that you and Sox used, I am having a ton of injuries since the last update too. I like the issues it causes, but I hate end of games when the clock is constantly stopping because someone is hurt for a play.

Yeah, I think they pushed out a quiet update because out of nowhere, started to get injuries. I took it down one point just to make the games go by quicker since the game doesn't acknowledge when a team runs out of timeouts and the clock is supposed to keep running/10 sec runoff

(8-3, 6-2 Pac 12)
(9-1, No. 3 CFP)
CFB 2031 Regular Season, Week 13 - Stanford Stadium, Palo Alto, California
CAL | 0 | 3 | 0 | 14 | 17
STAN | 7 | 10 | 14 | 7 | 38

No. 3 Stanford survives early fourth quarter scare to take care of rival Cal
All it took was four plays for Stanford's cushy lead over Cal to suddenly turn into a two possession game following a fourth and long conversion, a 34-yard touchdown run by Cal's Tyron Ryland on his first play of the game, Stanford's Earl Nienhuis only turnover of the game and a touchdown pass, all within three minutes of each other.
Rashawn Crouse would rip off a 40-yard run of his own and Stanford's defense would force three turnovers on downs in the last eight minutes of the game as the Cardinal held on for the 38-17 win over the Golden Bear.
It was tough sledding for Stanford's running game in the rain, held to less than 3.6 yards per carry prior to Crouse's touchdown run. The offense had scored on two explosive plays from Nienhuis to Rodney Cookus and relied on a special teams punt return for their touchdowns.
Cal true freshman quarterback Nate Denson only played a quarter and a half before leaving the game with an apparent chest injury only to return and get knocked out with an arm injury on the first play. Sophomore Monty Kiernan had some solid throws, going 16 of 30 for 159 yards with a touchdown and interception apiece.
Scoring Summary
Quarter 1
Trevon Winbush, returned punt 78 Yds (7:54)
Quarter 2
Rashaun Lombardi, 42 Yd FG (11:19)

Rodney Cookus 48 Yd pass from Earl Nienhuis (0:00)
Quarter 4

I would have went Stanford to cover but mans got regular employment
Losing Ogbonnaya sucks - feels like this class is a quarterback away from being very intriguing. Hopefully you can nab Danny Roldan and shore up the position a bit more.
