It must be transfers for whom Spurs is a step up, not for whom playing UEFA Europa League is a step down - the financial difference with UEFA Champions League is like buying your own decent house, or renting a cardboard box with borrowed money and then start a discussion on this board that it all depends on the quality of the cardboard...
In real life that dilemma is looming now: you think most of them Spurs-players will they play nicely and cuddly in the Championship next season?

Sounds like a lot of money, even if you manage to get the deal done with the discount mentioned. Pacho, being left-footed, may also not be the best option to partner van de Ven, being a left-footer as well. Or perhaps it's just me. I'm not having a problem with centerback-pairings with two right-footers: Ferdinand/Vidic, Carvalho/Terry, Pepe/Ramos for instance. But two left-footers in a CB-pairing, somehow it's hard for me to realize.

yeah cost would be pretty high. Bastoni is also left footed and would be costly as well

A lot of our players are young and cheap enough that a year in the Championship would do them good. Especially with 6-7 returning from a year long injury and can use a year to get back into it.
I can realistically only see 4-5 forcing a move.
For Soapy, Kolo makes sense for you to bring in. He had a great season but is not PSG level good. These other signings are looking good too. Where Juve is now compared to your Spurs, this is a step up.
