Dang, that’s the best I think I’ve done in a matchup against Tiny. Still got dunked on though.

:pgdead: it's never easy getting that information to transfer over verbatim. He's a highly rated 90+ player in the league so I don't know what's up. Let's just see how the season goes. :kghah:

Not at this point. James Taylor has definitely given Tiny the buckets over the years... Even beating Tiny in the NBA Finals for his first championship. James Taylor deserves some respect on his name!!

With my next update, I wonder if it's FINALLY sakai's time. Dude has been at the tippy top for a long time but the media doesn't vote him #1 for MVP.

The Basketball World At A Glance.

As the 2036-37 NBA season nears the quarter-mark, the league is beginning to take shape with dominant teams rising, stars solidifying their MVP cases, and franchises facing crucial decisions. With December now underway, we take a look at the standings, standout players, and the narratives shaping the season.

The Miami Heat (16-4) and Milwaukee Bucks (16-4) sit atop the Eastern Conference, with both teams displaying early dominance. Milwaukee, led by Hisashi Sakai’s electrifying play, looks poised to make a deep run, while Miami continues their pursuit of a historic three-peat. Orlando (13-6) and Brooklyn (13-6) have emerged as serious contenders, while teams like the Hawks (11-10) and 76ers (9-11) battle for playoff positioning.

In the Western Conference, the Dallas Mavericks (16-5) and New Orleans Pelicans (15-5) have asserted themselves as the frontrunners. Dallas features the high-scoring duo of Nash and Chasson Cash, two brothers who have been lighting up the league. The Minnesota Timberwolves (15-8) and Utah Jazz (13-8) are keeping pace, while struggling teams like the Phoenix Suns (7-13) and Denver Nuggets (2-19) find themselves at a crossroads.

Hisashi Sakai’s MVP Campaign?

Image

Despite multiple top-five finishes in MVP voting throughout his career, Milwaukee Bucks’ star Hisashi Sakai has never captured the coveted award. That could change this season. Averaging 30.5 PPG, 7.9 APG, and 2.3 SPG while shooting an astounding 54.9% from the field, Sakai has been the engine behind Milwaukee’s rise to first place. If the Bucks maintain their dominance, this could finally be his year.

Is Mo Cash’s Regression Hurting Atlanta?

Image

Last season, Mo Cash was a force for the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 20.6 PPG while shooting 53.6% from the field. This season, however, his numbers have dipped to 16.1 PPG on just 46.4% shooting. Sources around the league indicate that Cash may have entered the season overweight, which could explain his slow start. With Atlanta hovering around .500, they’ll need their star big man to regain his form if they hope to secure a top-six seed in the East.

The Miami Heat’s Three-Peat Push.

Image

Coming off back-to-back NBA championships, the Miami Heat are aiming to cement their dynasty with a third straight title. However, with key players Jere Augustus (20.7 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 4.4 APG) and DJ Porter Sr. (16.8 PPG, 11.9 RPG, 4.7 APG) set to hit free agency this summer, this could be their last run together. If Miami falls short, their dominant era could come to an end.

Tiny Jimenez Proves Greatness.

Image

At 33 years old and in his 16th NBA season, Tiny Jimenez continues to defy Father Time. The Phoenix Suns’ leader is putting up MVP-level numbers, averaging 26.7 PPG, 6.5 RPG, and 7.2 APG after suffering numerous injuries throughout his professional basketball career. Despite his heroics, the Suns have struggled, sitting at just 7-13. With the team looking to shake things up, they’ve placed veteran Ja Morant on the trade block. The 37-year-old point guard is in his 18th season, and the Memphis Grizzlies are rumored to be the frontrunners to bring him back for a farewell tour with the franchise that drafted him.

Morgan Sauce VI & Kairos Black: The #BlackSauce Dynasty.

Image

Jesuit High School’s rise to the #1 spot in the nation is powered by the incredible talents of Senior PF Kairos Black and Sophomore SG Morgan Sauce VI, whose chemistry on the court echoes the success of their fathers. Both players share a unique bond — their dads, NBA stars Recks Black and Morgan Sauce V, are teammates on the New Orleans Pelicans, forming the powerhouse duo known as #BlackSauce. This nickname, representing their formidable on-court partnership, has transcended the NBA and found its way into the high school ranks. At Jesuit, Kairos Black (6'11", 210 lbs) is the #1 player in Louisiana and the #5 PF in the nation, recently committing to BYU. Meanwhile, Morgan Sauce VI, a rising sophomore star, brings his shooting and playmaking to the team, establishing himself as a key contributor in Jesuit’s national dominance. The #BlackSauce legacy lives on, not just in the NBA, but in high school hoops, where the next generation is ready to carry the torch.
