I've seen a bit of the opposite. If you're aggressive early you can get fast tracked and get a verbal before Week 4. So long as you don't sit back, once you get the verbal it's almost a lock

I’m using a real recruiting class so truthfully everyone (all 14 of em) guys that have committed to FSU in real life are already committed in my class
