Tough game against the Bulls. The guys who show out for me showed out against you. Just gotta regroup and take one game at a time.

Damn, gotta find that end zone soon.
might have to start getting a little more aggressive. Evers has some good throw power, so i may have to let it fly a little more and hope to hit on some bigger plays

defense was STOUT... they kept calling 4-deep, but got such heavy pressure on my qb somehow. i use coach to call plays, which probably didnt help because manually i would have brought in extra protection

That Sperling boy is only a true freshman and he's a dawg. It'd be a much different game if Buffalo gave him even more reps

Temple's no-huddle offensive firepower puts on a clinic, Huskies fall 31-6

EAST HARTFORD, CT — In a story all too familiar, the Connecticut Huskies, once again, lost on their home field. This time to the hands of the Temple Owls.

Freshman receiver Shamar Porter added three catches for six yards and caught the first touchdown of his career, which was the team's only score. The Huskies went for the two-point conversion and failed.

Quarterback Nick Evers found the end zone again finally, but fumbled twice. One of which was in the red zone during the third quarter and recovered by the defense, effectively ending all momentum and any chance of a comeback.

While playing catchup, the run game was essentially non-existent this week as Temple controlled the clock and time of possession.

On defense, Durante Jones II led the team again in tackles, with 12, but also came up big with his first interception of the year. Other than Jones, there were no other standout performers to speak of, as the Temple offensive line completely dominated the Huskies.

Owls running back Joquez Smith was able to burst through the line time and time again, playing the role of a true bell cow, racking up 140 yards on 25 carries and a touchdown.

Quarterback Forrest Brock was also a beneficiary of great line play, as he was barely pressured at all. Brock threw for over 330 yards and three scores, as he led the Owls to nearly 500 yards of total team offense.

Next week, the Huskies get some time off to prepare for their next big test, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on October 19.
