Hurricanes put together a convincing win over the Gamecocks in 54-21 victory
The Miami Hurricanes easily took care of the South Carolina Gamecocks, scoring more than fifty points in consecutive games as they handed the visiting Gamecocks a 54-21 loss on Saturday.
For the second straight week, Miami was able to play several young players, including true freshman Bernie Flowers who finished the game after Keke Hagg threw three touchdown passes, throwing two of his own. Kevin Pujals, a redshirt sophomore tight end, caught his first touchdown pass as a Miami Hurricane.
The Hurricanes were able to establish their running game early in the game with Isaac Brown rushing for 107 yards and a touchdown. Jeremiah Smith caught one pass for four yards before leaving the game with a toe injury that he suffered while blocking. Joshisa Trader had a standout performance, replacing Smith on the outside, with six catches for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Eric Incoom replaced Trader in the slot with two touchdowns on touch passes near the goal line.

From the Ashes.
we let baze down.
I want to redshirt Flowers so any time there's a blowout, going to take that opportunity to play with him and see what he has. He's definitely quicker than Keke
