Coach Porter's Notes
We need to run the ball in this one, last week's performance on the ground was not good enough.
DT Van Poppel (#44) is a force in the middle, we can not allow him to take over the game.
They lack speed as a unit at linebacker so we will attack them with crossing routes and outside runs.
CB Collins (#18) is a bit weak in man coverage and can get beat off the line. If we see him pressing we should take a shot.
Safety Smith-Young (#10) is a ball hawk, he leads the team in tackles and interceptions, find him on every play.
Coach White's Notes
QB Byrne (#2) has a big arm and enough mobility to pick up key first downs if we let him. Keep the pressure on him and don't let hem escape.
RB Hawkins (#26) has a burst and can hit he big play. He is a good receiver out of the backfield as well. He will make us pay for sloppy tackles.
Three strong receivers in McClellan (#11), Wheaton (#81) and Parrish (#80). McClellan is the deep threat. All of them are elusive and have good hands. Parrish is Byrne's favorite target.
The interior OL is weak against the pass rush so we will attack that area.
