Manchester United Promote Logan Marsden to First Team

Marsden (18) is set to join the first team but likely to go on loan in January.

Manchester United have promoted 18-year-old academy graduate Logan Marsden to the first team. The stocky, left-footed right attacking midfielder stands at 5’9 and is currently viewed as third choice at RAM behind Takefusa Kubo and Tyler Dibling. While Marsden will train with the senior squad, the plan is to send him on loan in January to gain valuable first-team experience. Long-term, Dibling may be converted into a left wingback, opening a pathway for Marsden to return as backup to Kubo at RAM. United hope his loan spell allows him to adapt to top-flight football and integrate seamlessly into Amorim’s system in the future.
