nah, he's only got 10 and only a handful of fumbles. our boy is a lock

on a sidenote, that's why McCallum has been rushing the rock less lately and not as involved in the game plan. I didn't want him to eclipse Prude with him having so many punt return touchdowns and receptions, since we all know that they overvalue secondary stats :pgdead:

Conway, SC. - Coastal Carolina's aerial blitzkrieg on the ACC continued back on The Teal as they bombarded West Virginia for 49 points in their 11th win of the season. The assault was briefly halted when Anthony Prude attempted a cross-body pass in the red zone that was intercepted by Mountaineers linebacker Tremaine Bean and was quickly turned into a Mountaineers touchdown after Montell Boesen's 90 yard touchdown run.

Prude answered on the following drive with a 24-yard touchdown run, baiting Bean with a pump fake to the flat before accelerating into the end zone. West Virginia rallied for a pair of field goals in response, but clearly lacked the offensive firepower to hang with the Chanticleers.

A 35-13 halftime lead ballooned to the 49-13 final after Prude tossed a pair of touchdowns to Darin Best, bolstering the receiver to double-digit scores alongside Marco Sawyer (13) and Morgan Briggs (17).

"People laughed when we compared ourselves to the Bama Boys," Briggs scoffed in the postgame. "But look at us now."

Best sits just 30 yards away from becoming the third Coastal receiver to eclipse 1,000 yards this season. With his addition to the double-digit touchdown club, the Chanticleers' trio now ranks among the most prolific in college football history.

With one more regular season game remaining—Senior Night against Virginia Tech—quarterback Anthony Prude promised a show.

"It's potentially some of these guys' last games on The Teal," the Heisman front-runner said. "We've got to pop it off one more time."

Coastal welcomes the 4-7 Virginia Tech Hokies to The Teal next week for Senior Night before preparing for the ACC Championship, an appearance they clinched with their 11th win and seventh in conference play.

Morgan Briggs opened the scoring with a pair of touchdowns as Coastal built an early 21-0 lead.

Darin Best continues to quietly be the 3rd wheel in the Chanticleers passing attack, eclipsing double-digit touchdowns with a pair of scores in the 2nd half.

41/47 is efficient as fuck lol. Still threw a pick doe :troll:

I'm hoping Prude breaks both of those records, it was a fun time when Colt Brennan held the record for those few years lol.
