missed the chance to say Restrepo is a "coach's son, real gym rat" best way to label all white receivers.
Pressure is going to be on JJ from the start. Better be scoring a touchdown every game
he's spicy white

Restrepo just wasting a roster spot with Jefferson on the squad. Get him outta there.
$60 mill for Ward is crazy work
yesterday's price is not today's price.

need a generational run from JJ.
inb4 Cam's INTs double from forcing the ball to him
We don't play favorites

Titans' second half defense shines in 30-27 win over Detroit in preseason opener
Justin Jefferson's first drive as a Tennessee Titan went just perfectly with a 13-yard reception on his very first snap and ended with a leaping touchdown grab for the first of hopefully many touchdown connections with Cam Ward.
It would prove to be Jefferson and Ward's only drive of the game and the start of a hectic two minutes as Amon-Ra St. Brown scored on the very first play of the ensuing possession and then Titans returner Deion Burks fumbled on the kickoff return, leading to a quick six play drive that resulted in Detroit taking an early 14-7 lead.
The Titans would rally back with touchdowns from Jalen Milroe, Jayden Gibson and Xavier Restrepo to set up Brandon Aubrey's 20-yard game winning field goal with forty seconds left in the game as the Titans won their first, albeit exhibition game, with newly promoted head coach Steve Jackson.
Neither starting quarterback threw an incompletion as Ward went 5-for-5 in his only drive of the game and was replaced by Marcus Mariota who only played one drive in his return to the franchise that drafted him over a decade ago. Jared Goff completed all three of his passes for 83 yards and two touchdowns before rookie quarterback Conner Weigman had a solid outing, going 18 of 27 for 207 yards.
The Titans defense was leaky in the beginning but solidified as the game went on and the pressure started to get home, finishing the game with five sacks. Rookies Jamaal Jarrett and Gabe Harris Jr. were standouts with two tackles for loss apiece and each had a sack on Weigmann.
The star of the night was Restrepo who tied the game with a 35-yard touchdown reception and led the team with six receptions for 97 yards. The play of the night, however, was Jayden Gibson who hurdled a defender for a touchdown earlier in the half on a pass from Jalen Milroe.

Milroe was the third quarterback to enter the game for the Titans, who played all four. He finished 8 of 12 for 64 yards and two total touchdowns, rushing for 20 yards. Rookie quarterback Alonza Barnett III, an undrafted free agent, threw the touchdown to Restrepo and had a really good debut, completing 60 percent of his passes for 69 yards.

Goff carving y'all up is a bit concerning, good to see the young QBs play well. Any plans to use Milroe this season? Could be a nice package

with his speed

He’s out there forcing the ball to Restrepo to justify keeping him.

Rookie Zach Rice earns himself some reps with the starting unit following debut
You probably didn't notice center Zach Rice in the preseason opener against the Detroit Lions and for a rookie offensive lineman, that's as good as it gets.
Rice, the Titans' top draft pick this past offseason, played 35 snaps with the second team and didn't surrender a pressure. On Monday, veteran Garrett Bradbury was the first one out there at center with Cam Ward and the rest of the first team offense but Rice, for the first time, rotated in with the first team as well.
Titans head coach Steve Jackson said that onlookers shouldn't look too closely at rotations this early in camp but did note that Rice's performance was promising.
"We don't play [Chargers] for another month," Jackson said of the depth chart, "Where you are today and where you are when we play [the Chargers] are two different things so right now, it's just about being consistent, getting better and making the most of your opportunities when you do earn them."
The third round pick is an impressive athlete whose physical body type stands out in comparison to Bradbury and Jon Gaines, the other centers on the roster. Rice is six-foot-five and listed at 320 pounds compared to Bradbury, one of the lighter centers in the league.
Bradbury was signed in free agency after the Titans traded away Lloyd Cushenberry and entered camp as the presumed starter and a bridge until Rice is ready as the prospect of a rookie center, the nucleus of an offensive line, might be unnerving.
The Titans have a young offensive line with a first time starter at left tackle (23), a fifth-year player at left guard (26), a second-year starter at right guard (23) and a fourth-year starter at right tackle (24). Bradbury brings that veteran experience but if Rice keeps up this play, he might be undeniable.

Don't think I'll truly ever like the Titans jersey. Thought Jefferson might rectify that but, nah.

I'm different, I like the jerseys. I like the light and dark blue mix.

Hard to beat a young, good offensive line
