United Call Up and Loan Out Academy Starlet, Harry Porter

The little wizard is off to Cagliari on loan.

Manchester United have confirmed the loan of 17-year-old academy midfielder Harry Porter to Cagliari for the remainder of the 2026–27 season, a move designed to accelerate the development of one of the club’s most gifted young technicians. Standing at 5'6", the English midfielder has earned the nickname “The Little Wizard” for his close control, creativity, and intelligence in tight spaces. United believe regular senior football in Serie A will be vital in toughening Porter physically while sharpening his decision-making. The long-term plan is clear: Porter is being groomed as a potential future backup to Kobbie Mainoo at RCM, with Reo Hatate set to turn 30 next season. The club will closely monitor his progress, viewing this spell in Italy as a key step in his pathway to the first team.

Harry Porter, had to double take on that one!! Also meant to say thanks for adding in lineups. Really gives it context.

Two huge wins in a row, taking points from Liverpool and getting the first leg over Arsenal. Having Dibling, Ferguson, and Mora as "back ups" is a pretty solid depth chart.

Lol same when I saw him in my academy the first time. Hoping he can become a good bench option for me next season.

Yeah we're building a "shadow team" of young talent atm. Securing the future.

Ruben Amorim Wins Manager of the Year Award

Amorim wins the first of hopefully many managerial accolades at United.

Rúben Amorim has been named Premier League Manager of the Year, capping off a remarkable period in charge at Manchester United. The award recognises his transformation of the side into the league’s most dominant and entertaining team, built around an aggressive 3-4-2-1 system, relentless pressing, and fluid attacking movement. United’s consistency, defensive improvement, and record-breaking attacking numbers have underlined Amorim’s impact, as has his trust in youth and willingness to make bold structural decisions. After guiding the club back to the summit and restoring a clear identity, Amorim’s recognition feels fully deserved and signals United’s return to elite managerial leadership.
