Montreal, QC- Up 3-0 in the first period, the San Jose Sharks(0-2) let it slip away.

"It was awful honestly. We couldn't hold onto the lead." Sharks Head Coach Bob Boughner stated.

San Jose began their 5-game road trip in Montreal tonight and took a 3-0 lead off Sergei Kobanov(1), Captain Logan Couture(1), and Tyler Adams(1).

Both Kobanov and Adams scored their first career goals in the NHL.

"Surreal feeling to get that first one." Adams said with a smile.

Montreal(1-3) began their comeback when Nick Suzuki scored on the Power Play to start the second period. The Habs would go 1/1 on the Man advantage.

"Thought we played a much more disciplined game tonight with just one penalty." Boughner added.

Christian Dvorak(1) scored that cut the Sharks lead to 3-2.

"Felt like we really could win this game once we got those Two goals in the second." Canadiens Head Coach Dominique Ducharme stated. "Seemed like it was smooth sailing for us from there."

Montreal(1-3) took full control of the game in the 3rd period. Nick Suzuki(2) scored again to tie it up sending the fans inside the Bell Centre into a frenzy.

"Once they tied it up, it seems like it was just an uphill battle for us." Sharks Head Coach Bob Boughner stated.

Montreal pulled away for good as Jonathan Drouin(1) scored and Mike Hoffman(1) gave the Habs a 5-3 win.

Canadiens backup Goalie Jake Allen had just 20 saves as San Jose struggled to get Shots on Goal.

Rookie Sharks Netminder Joey Backstrom had 51 saves while allowing 5 Goals.

Dude you're not wrong! Up 3-0 in the first just to give up 5 in the next 40 minutes lmao. Jesus.. I actually felt comfortable too up 3-0 but then when they made it 3-2 I went oh shit lol
