The dust has settled. The battles have been fought. The bruises are fresh.
And after thirteen weeks of chaos, carnage, and classic SEC football, one truth remains:

LSU is perfect.

The Tigers finish the regular season at a flawless 12–0 (8–0), the lone undefeated team in the nation. Arch Manning is playing like a generational superstar, Harlem Berry just crossed 1,100 yards, and the LSU defense is hunting turnovers like it’s personal. This is a team built for Atlanta — and beyond.

But the chase pack behind them? Absolutely ferocious.

Ole Miss closes the year at 11–1 (7–1), their best season in the modern era, and still very much in the playoff conversation.
Florida finishes at 10–2 (6–2), a legitimate top‑10 team with a résumé that screams New Year’s Six.
Texas, Alabama, and Oklahoma all finish 5–3 in conference, forming a brutal second tier that beat each other senseless all season.

Georgia and Missouri survive the gauntlet at 6–6 and 7–5, while A&M, Auburn, Mississippi State, and the rest of the middle tier limp to the finish line.

At this point I might need a double generational haul — like the portal equivalent of hitting the lottery twice. Between the drops, the QB roulette, and the SEC gauntlet chewing us up, this roster needs an infusion of dudes who can flip games on their own.

If I don’t come out of the offseason with at least three instant‑impact starters and a couple of “how did A&M land him?” surprises, we’re running it back with the same headaches next year.

Ole Miss: Back-to-Back Heisman Glory
QB Demond Williams Jr. became the second straight Rebel to win the Heisman, earning First Team All-American honors after a dominant season. He was joined by WR Christian Neptune and DT Jamarious Brown, giving Ole Miss elite playmakers on both sides of the ball.

Texas A&M’s roller‑coaster season will wrap up in Birmingham, where the Aggies face the Louisville Cardinals in a matchup that feels equal parts opportunity and gut‑check. After dropping three of their final four and watching a once‑promising campaign slip into frustration, A&M enters bowl season with something to prove — and something to salvage.

Just checked and it is, my goal is to win 9 games, thankfully 11-2 and 13-2 with a NC has given me a little bit of a leeway. But that will change if I don’t win game 8.
