Lets do a recruiting update now that we are in week 9. We currently have 6 commits which is good for 9th in the country. We have 20 seniors with several more expected to go pro early or transfer. Since we don't have a huge amount of seniors we don't want to a class that's too large. We are in some fun recruiting battles with a 6'5 4* QB with 87 break tackle. We are his 3rd choice, but do have him in for a visit this week. The 5* Bust that's 6'6 we also expect to get as well as 5* NT. The big fish still hanging out is 5th overall player CB Jaleel Jaimes who we would have got the commit from had we beat Miami. We project this to go into a battle with Pitt and for us to lose him. Another intense battle is for 5* speed rusher George Paxson it's basically tied in a 2 way battle and we have him in for a visit this week. Since we also have him paired with that 5* DT for a visit we think we get him.

HB Nathan Takeoff
The most unusual recruiting story we have seen in a decade, and we still have more questions than answers. Nathan was at the top of our Wishlist a 5* gem with 94 speed, 93 accel and the shifty ability. As an added bonus he was a athlete at 5'11 so could also playing DB. We are 99.999% certain he committed to us and we had secured our first ever 5* HB and with being a gem should come in with elite development. In our offense a stone cold lock he would be a star and future 1st round pick. However, when we had advanced a week later, we no longer had a commit from him. He wasn't taking our phone calls, and we couldn't talk to him. His dealbreaker was playing time so maybe he got afraid of the competition from Terry Tyree? However, we didn't add anyone new at that position to our board and he had already committed. We not only had been blacked out from talking to him we weren't even in his top 10 anymore. He quickly commits to Clemson the next week. In related news we have announced a 3-year series with Clemson. We don't project him to start next year for them so very possible he ends up in the portal at some point in a few years. He also had a heck of a last name for a speedy HB.

HB Terry Tyree - 5* Gem - #24
Also, a 5* gem HB and rated just 3 spots lower than the Benedict Arnold. He isn't as good looking of a prospect much slower (85) and the backfield archetype isn't one that fit our offense. We are banking on getting elite dev and somehow keeping him happy for a year or two as he develops. Also, we don't project him to be a power type of HB either. He does come with 3 mental abilities and bronze safety valve. We project to have 3 others ahead of him in the pecking order next year not counting the power guys. Despite being a 5* gem with the lack of speed or power we aren't sure how his career turns out since we are always loaded at HB.

WR Eric Levick - 5* - #2
The highest rated recruit we have ever signed and coming in 2nd overall he may always have that record. He isn't a gem so we don't know what his dev trait is, but he isn't a bust so we have high hopes. He is a 6'4 contested specilast which is what we look for and 80+ in most ratings highlighted by 92 spec catch. He comes with 3 abilities with silver 50/50 being the best and 3 more silver mental abilities. How much he plays next year will depend on if Jaken Brigance (88) comes back to school and if Rico Corbin (80) and Ofisa Nye (78) we are able to keep there playing time happy in garbage time and special teams. We surprisingly have a deep WR room now so we don't project to add anyone else in the portal. We are going after 4* Ben Perrizo as well who has gold 50/50 and think we soon get the commit.

ATH / WR Quincy Okwuegbunam - 4* - # 189
He is listed at WR, but as an athlete we think we play him at DB. He has no abilities and 88 speed at 6'2. He would be a project player and we are hoping the dev trait isn't normal.

TE Jay Wilcox - 4* - # 403
The safest bet in the game is a blocking TE to have a high overall and be a useful player for us. We got another one and no gem here, but with the blockers that's not as big of a deal if it's just normal dev. He is 6'4 and 239 pounds and has key ratings 76 speed, 83 strength and 74 run block. It's possible he plays more FB then TE for us.

Eli Lindsay - 4* Gem - #37
We got the #1 player on our board the greatest 4* OL ever with 98 strength.

Mike Monty - 4* Gem - #228
We talked about Monty a little bit ago and we didn't think we would get him and figured Alabama would. However he loved his visit and committed to us after that. He has 92 strength and 75 run block as a gem so we at least get impact dev. He will be redshirted and should be a heck of a player for us.

10 Midseason 2035 Storylines

1. Now Ranked 16th
After the 2nd loss of the year to Miami Hazzard dropped from 6 to 16. There is still plenty of time of time to get back into the playoffs, but it's time to do some scoreboard watching. Without any other ranked teams missing the playoffs is a legit possibility. They are matchups this week like #7 vs #10 and next weeks #1 vs #12 which will help.

2. SEC Title Game Unlikely/b]
Even though one of Hazzard losses were out of conference we don't project them to make the SEC title game. UGA hasn't loss yet and has the head-to-head vs us. It's a little early to start projecting who will be in it as Alabama and Florida both also have 1 loss and we have the head-to-head vs them. Florida still has matchups with UGA and Alabama so it will be much clearer in a few weeks

3. Leamon Wins QB Battle
The true freshman 5* has won the QB job over the last few weeks and will start the rest of the year. It always seems like someone is getting banged up and both are playing a little bit each game. Considering the brutal hard schedule and a lot of road games he has held up pretty well. He has 671 passing yards, 8 TD, 4 INT on 66%. It's his legs as to why he won the job with 307 yards and 7 TD so overall all 15 TD and 4 Int. With a easier schedule the rest of the way look for those stats to go up. For comparison he has 112 passes and Cesario has 76.

#5 Prosinki's break out year
We think he should win TE of the year award with 48 catches for 382 yards and 5 TD with just 3 drops. He is also another game or two away from upgrading his hands again. He is on pace to double his stats from last year and could start breaking records this year for us. He has also added 3 rushing TDs.

#6 Feeley Breaking Out
If you are picking a breakout player on defense is the junior Fred Feeley who has went from 2 sacks last year to 5.5. The Junior has a 87 grade so should be back for his senior year, but its not a lock. A dynamite edge rusher used as a pass rush specialist with his 90 speed, 95 accel, 89 finesse move and platinum quick jump. He has 80 block shed, 93 tackle so that could be a focus this offseason. If not, we could make it power moves so we can get the duress ability

#7 Pass Defense Struggling
Typically a top 10 unit and a very talented unit its not working on the field this year. The 301 pass yards per game is 2nd worst in the SEC. We expect that to go down a little but, thankfully no major players have play style deal breaker this year. We do project to lose George Childers a 87 rated CB because of it.

#8 Soft Schedule To Go
While the records aren't good they are 2 possible trap games on the road. Overall, we should get some looks at backups going forward.

Another Monster Game For TE Prosinski

One of the easiest games of the year at home vs 1 win Kentucky with a 76 team rating the worst in the conference. Kentucky was playing tough and mid 2nd quarter it was tied at 7. That TD was a highlight one handed grab by our big TE. We would finally get some separation later in the 2nd scoring 3 TD's to make it 28-7 at half. The highlight play in the stretch was a interception by our DE Redman off a sack and a guys helmet right around the goal line. Prosinski would add on a few more TD's and may have cemented himself as TE of the year with his 9th TD of the year.

The bad news freshman QB Leamon got hurt early and missed about all the game. Cesario the senior played most of the game but also got banged. This did give #3 QB Sledge (81) his most run of his career and he had a TD pass. We won the yardage game 443-229 and finally the DB's played well giving up just 144 passing yards. They did have a HB Freshman Bobby Office (85) a N/S Receiver that boke 7 tackles on 13 carries and had 130 total yards. We will have to keep track of him and if he enters the portal this year. This game was all about that 6'6 and 274 pound TE Prosinski who had 10 catches for 59 yards and 4 TD and also had a rushing TD. We also used this game to rest the top HBs we have giving 16 carries to freshman Daryl Tapp (78) and 16 to Eric Carswell (81)

WR Ben Perrizo - 4* #423
A 6'5 contested specialist that comes in with gold 50/50. He isn't a burner but does have 91 acceleration and needs work on route running. Like all of the 4* non gems it comes down to the dev trait and if its just normal it will go down as a bad signing. We typically have been portal heavy at WR and that will not be the case as we are as deep as ever at that position in terms of bodies.

DE George Paxson - 5* #17
Maybe the best looking prospect we have signed in this class AT 6'5 and 236 pounds with 88 strength, 84 power move and 84 speed. We somehow
steal the power rusher from in state Ole Miss who was +5 pipeline over us. He cares about pro potential so that's a pretty easy one to keep up. It's hard for DE to come in and play so look for him to be a 2nd string and special teams guy year 1

DT Kevin Tavares - 5* #26
We need bodies at DT as 3 of our 6 are seniors and we don't have anymore commits at the time. We are leading for 4* Jamarcus Knight, but we may end up pulling the offer since he has just 59 speed and 66 block shed. Kevin the 26th player in the class that we about backed out of, however we had him in for a visit with DE Paxson and without that we don't think we get the commit. In a way they were a package deal bc the complementary visit was huge. He will be a NT for us and may have to play that role as a true freshman if we don't get portal help

CB Brian Upshaw - 4* #365
We need some bodies at CB even with 7 on the roster now as 2 will graduate, 1 is going pro and another likely transfers. We also weren't sure if we would get the 5* Jaimes. Brian is a 6'3 developmental guy but as a zone type we can get that overall grade up even if normal dev. His 89 speed will need some work as well.

WR Andy Slack - 5* bust - #22
Officially a 5*, but we are counting him a 4* since he is a bust. A 6'6 contested specialist with 90 spec catch, 91 accel, 85 catch so solid ratings. Then on top of that has 3 abilities headlined by gold 50/50. We really wish he was as athlete as he has platinum team player so maybe he moves to TE for us.

CB Jaleel Jaimes - 5* #5
The most important guy on a board the 5th overall guy and its a battle with us and Pitt who is the instate school We lead now and super close to the commit. The bad news they have him in for a visit so this likely goes to a battle. He is just 5'11 so a litle short for us, but 90's speed and gold jammer and that highly rated is someone we need.

TE Greg Carmichael - 5* # 28
We have another 5* ready to go if we lose out on the CB and its someone we got on later. The 6'6 physical route runner TE with 80 speed, 80 strength and bronze down hill. Its a battle of us and Ohio State and he is in top 8 stage.

We have just 3 QB's on the roster and somehow Vernon Sledge we think will be back next year as the #2. We need some bodies for sure as we can't rely on the portal and may lose out on the 4* we have been going after all year. We got lucky and discovered 2 great looking prospects that we are going all out for now. They don't have any teams in there top 10 that have offered them so as long as we don't get blocked out this week we should be in good shape. We also have 2 more as well we didn't offer in the 3* ranks Ben Vila with 86 speed, 87 short accuracy and 91 power. Then Kamaryn Garnes with 89 accel, 91 power and 86 short accuracy


Garrison Livings - 3* Gem - #1031
6'1 Athlete dual threat that looks like he could start on day 1 for us coming from Michigan. He has solid speed at 85 with 87 acceleration then a great arm power at 95.When you add in all accuracy 83-85 with bronze dot you have a QB we all could use.

Deontay Goda - 3* Gem - #1830
As good as Garrison is its Goda who we want more then anyone even the 4*. He is also a athlete dual threat at 6'1 and does guarantee at least impact dev being a gem. A true dual threat blistering 90 speed, 89 accel with 95 arm strength and 87 short accuracy. An amazing looking QB that honestly looks as good if not better then the 5* we are starting now as a true freshman. We are his only offer

QB Tyrell Nevis - 4* #239
The dual threat athlete QB with 87 arm power, 82 speed and 87 break sack and already silver extender. We love him as a developmental backup as that high break sack is rare. We are in a intense battle with UNC and he loved the visit last week. We need him as he may have to be our backup QB next year

244 Pound HB's Breakout Game

The last test in the regular season where a loss is possible on the road vs 89 overall Auburn. We did move up to #12 and the SEC title game is still not happening as UGA hasn't loss yet. This means if we win out, we should barely make the playoffs as #10 and #11 are expected to lose this in week 11. We wanted to feature our power back Eric Carswell in this game a 244-pound Sophomore contact seeker and he wouldn't disappoint. His first TD was a 38-yarder untouched. We have been resting our normal #1 HB for the last few games, and he takes his only carry of the game 69 yards on the option. The 6'6 Brigance scores on our favorite play out of shotgun heavy and it's a blowout 28-6 at half. Dylan Toney gets an interception on elite coverage while Carswell added a pair of rushing TDs in the 2nd half

Carswell ties the school record with 4 TD's and in the process is now a more powerful back. Despite the score of 42-13 the yard battle was somewhat close 393-243. Starting QB Leamon got banged up again so all 3 QBs played in this one. The pass defense has another good game holding them to under 200 yards so maybe the corner has been turned as we get into playoff season.

Hazzard also took care of South Carolina 38 to 14 (watched game), but it should have been worse than it was. Hazzard won the yards battle 507-377. but had 5 interceptions a school record. This was the most passing yards in a game this year with 300. The redzone % was just 33%,3rd down % just 50% and missed both 4th downs. Some of the interceptions were when it didn't matter as much and they also had a pick 6. Our starting QB Leamon again got banged up so all 3 QBs played. Senior Jason Kugbila was the featured back this game with 100 yards and 2 TDs, and he is really our best and most balanced HB.

That's also why he didn't have any offers in that pic. lIt actually may be for the best as it creates a fun story and I'm thinking he will transfer from Clemson anyway since his deal breaker is playing time. 10 End of Regular Season Storylines - 2035

1. UGA Wins SEC
Hazzard didn't win the SEC East as UGA went 13-0 including a win over us. They beat #8 Ole Miss in the SEC game 52-34 and are the team to beat in the playoffs with the #1 seed.

2. LSU Comes To Town
We are the 7th seed and will face #10 LSU at home in the first round. LSU Has a 94 overall rating and went 9-3 in the regular season. LSU is a balanced very talented team on both sides of the ball. We have historically played amazing vs LSU including a 56-17 win on the road in week 4. Since we are at home and won by so much earlier in the year, we are big favorites in the game.

3. Clemson Looms In Round 2
If we in then it's on to #3 Clemson who has a 99 overall rating. This is an interesting team to play as they were the team that stole our 5* gem HB Nathon Takeoff (94 speed) from us during the season. We are scheduled to play them the next 2 years so this could help kickoff that rivalry. Despite being the #3 seed, they went 11-2 and lost in the ACC title game to Pitt 54-52. Clemson is led by HB Mike Zolak with 1,305 yards and 20 TDs. He is a key figure as he is a junior rated 89 overall and if he comes back to school the 5* gem HB Takeoff likely transfers in a year.

#4. TE Prosinki Breaks Single Season Records
The 6'6-and-274-pound TE has broke the single season catches record currently with 77. With a strong chance of having 4 more games he should shatter records and maybe get to 100 catches. This is something we didn't think we would ever see in this offense. However, you have to adapt and his improved hands have showed up

#5 Prosinski Wins Mackey Award
His finals stats at this point 77 catches for 629 yards and 9 TD plus 119 yards and 5 TD. That was enough for him easily win the Mackey award giving to the nation's best TE. He is a true sophomore and rated 81 so we can now comfortable predict he will not leave us after his junior year for the NFL. He will split his focus this offseason on hands, blocking and route running.

#6 Starting RG Out for the Year
A few weeks back we lost our starting RG Shaq Okine for the season with a torn pect. He is a junior rated 84 with impact development but was a key piece to the OL. He has 94 run blocking, 95 run finesse and just 82 pass block with the platinum outside shield, platinum option shield and silver inside shield sitting him apart. We have gone with the 5* true freshman Hufanga mostly the last few games as he has elite development and we want to make sure he got his playing time. Thankfully this is a position we have elite depth in. Since in the playoffs we will go with redshirt freshman Romeo Westerman who has 94 run blocking and gold option shield. Deontae Hester (89 ovr) with 88 run blocking will now be the top backup OL

#7 Key DT Out for the Year
Another injury happened and it hurts a little more as Garrison Mondeaux (83 ovr) also tore his pect and will miss the rest of the season. Garrison just a sophomore was our NT thanks to his 96 strength, 82 block shed, 91 tackle and gold grip breaker. That job now goes to former 4* Chet Mcgan who comes in much bigger at 6'4 and 334 pounds. He has 95 strength, 80 block shed, 91 tackle so a similar player, but not as good of abilities. Senior Walter Pugh (82 ovr) and Sophomore Ben Humphries (80) now will move to key depth players. Another DT Senior Bryce Michaud (88 ovr) has stepped up his game in recent weeks with 3 sacks the last 2 games

#8 Can Freshman QB Leamon lead us to a Title ?
On paper he isn't the best we have rated 82 overall while Cesaro is a 94. However, with elite development with 90 speed at 6'5 we couldn't risk losing him so had to start him. In this offense we can hide the QB as we are such a great rushing attack. He isn't gotten all the playing time for comparison he has 171 attempts, Cesario 106 and Sledge 15. He is completing 67%, with 1,190 yards, 13 TD, 5 Int. It's his legs while he is starting adding 385 yards and 9 TD on 4.8 per. We expect a massive jump in overall going into year 2.

#9. Can Pass Rush Stay Hot ?
The DE duo of Junior Fred Feeley (87) and Senior Grant Redmond (95) have played great this year with 17 sacks combine. They are 4 more with 2+ sacks, but these are the main guys from the pass rush side. As a whole we were 10th in the country with 38 sacks

#10 Hazzard Destroys TN on Road
This was a trap game TN came in despite a 88 rating and a pretty stacked defense they were only 3-8. They also have a stadium ranked in the top 20. It was close at half with us up 17-10. Then our defense plays the best half of the year in the 2nd and completely shut them down. We win 52-10 and win the yards game 550-217. The freshman QB played great 4 total TD's with no turnovers and HB Kugbila went for 119 and 2 TD. This was all about the defense though holding them to 10 points and 7 sacks. We oddly had 4 off weeks in a row after this as our normal bye week was week 13 and we didn't win the East.
