‣ NFL 2028 Regular Season, Week 1 - New Nissan Stadium, Nashville, Tennessee
(0-1) Chicago Bears at Tennessee Titans (1-0)
CHI | 3 | 10 | 8 | 3 | 24
TEN | 0 | 14 | 7 | 15 | 36

Titans pull away in the fourth quarter to win season opener against Bears
It was a game of runs with Chicago's defense dominating the early portion, Tennessee's offense coming online early in the second quarter and then Caleb Williams made some special plays to make it a competitive game in the second half.
The final portion would belong to the Titans defense who scored on a safety, kept the Bears out of the endzone and gave the Titans offense the runway to close the game out in a 36-24 win for the Titans over the Bears on Sunday afternoon.
Chicago tied the game with eight minutes left in the third quarter with a 59-yard touchdown pass to Rome Odunze as Williams escaped the pocket and bought his receiver time to get down the field. After both teams traded punts, the Titans would lose their second fumble of the day on a carry by Jam Miller which was recovered by Xavier Watts. Despite the good field position, Chicago would fail to come away with points as they went for it on fourth and two and Williams' pass to Luther Burden III went incomplete as he was pressured.
Two drives later, Williams would be pressured again, this time in his own endzone where he was sacked by Jamaal Jarrett for the safety. The Titans would extend the lead with a nine play drive that included a 31-yard scramble by Cam Ward on third and seven and then an eight-yard completion to Gabe Matias on third and two from the Chicago nine-yard line to set up Mark Fletcher's touchdown.
The Bears would finally get points on the board after converting a fourth and nine with a 26-yard completion to Burden but the drive would stall out in the redzone following a sack by Jeffery Simmons, forcing them to settle for a field goal. Tennessee would lead another nine play drive that ended with a Fletcher touchdown, extending their lead and winding down the clock.

You goddamn fucking right, that's how you use those sticks fn.
Good win. 102 out of 157 yards going to Jettas is pornographic.
