No doubt — you don’t just swap out a guy who built the nastiest defense in the country. But the culture he helped create is still here, and this roster is loaded with dudes who know the standard. The next man up is inheriting a machine, not rebuilding one.

Brother… I’ve fully accepted my fate. FSU had me sweating, but Miami? Miami straight up handed Soapy a year’s worth of material in one night. I could already hear him typing before the clock even hit zero. Losing the Natty is one thing — losing it to Miami on this board is a whole different tax bracket of pain.

I’m just bracing for the offseason barrage at this point.

For three quarters, Texas A&M and Miami traded blows in one of the most physical, suffocating defensive battles in recent championship memory. It was 0–0 deep into the fourth — a war of attrition, field position, and grit. But in the final 12 minutes, two explosive Miami strikes proved to be the difference as the Aggies fell 14–10 in a gut‑punch finish at Raymond James Stadium.

Fourth-Quarter Chaos
