Colts put up a challenge but unable to knock off undefeated Titans
Xavier Restrepo caught a pair of touchdown passes, Cam Ward threw for 402 yards and the Tennessee Titans' defense came up with clutch stops in the Titans 27-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday to remain undefeated and atop the AFC South.

The Titans dominated the early portions of the game, jumping out to an 17-3 lead and had a chance to run away with it when Mark Fletcher fumbled at the one-yard line. Two possessions later, a pair of crucial mistakes allowed the Colts to get back into the game, beginning with a busted coverage that left Tyler Warren wide open for a 40-yard touchdown with eighteen seconds left in the first half and on the ensuing kickoff, Chimere Dike would fumble the ball, allowing the Titans to score ten points in ten seconds to enter the half trailing by a touchdown.

Defense would rule the second half with three points in the first three possessions on the third quarter before Colts rookie quarterback C.J. Carr was intercepted by Whit Weeks. Tennessee then converted a 2nd and 23 with a 24-yard completion to Justin Jefferson to set up Restrepo's second touchdown of the day, the Titans only points in the second half.

The Colts had a few chances to cut into the lead with the Titans' offensive stall in the second half, the most pivotal opportunity came with five minutes left when the Colts had the ball on the Titans one-yard line but then went backwards on three consecutive players to set up fourth and goal where Carr's pass was knocked down by linebacker Edgerrin Cooper.

Indianapolis would eventually score on their next possession but with no timeouts, they were forced to attempt to recover an onside kick which they were unable to, allowing Tennessee to run out the clock.
