Mandem from the Ends.

Spurs' undefeated November pushes them to the top of the table as summer moves are paying off
It took a hotel malfunction which left Spurs play on the streets of Istanbul at three in the morning for Tottenham to not come away with three points in a match in the month of November. Spurs otherwise went 4-0 in league play with dominant wins over Bournemouth, Liverpool, West Ham and Everton to have a three point advantage over second place Chelsea with a game in hand.
The front four of Xavi Simons, Rodrygo and Mohammed Kudus on the wing with Mathys Tel at striker has been phenomenal for Spurs this season and really took it up a notch this past month. Tel really came on, starting with his hat trick against Bournemouth in one of the biggest victories for Spurs in history. It was then Kudus' turn to star in the 4-1 win over Liverpool, bagging two goals while Tel still managed to get onto the scoring sheet. Kudus followed it up with a hat trick against his former team while Everton was a team effort with Tel, Simons and deputy striker Elijah Adebayo getting in on the fun.
And yet, there is still a feeling among pundits and Spurs supporters that the midnight clock will inevitably strike. Many, including Caesar, criticized Spurs' activity in the summer transfer window, questioning the talent that was brought in by Kwamele Owusu in his second season at the helm. The acquisition of Joseph Paintsil was panned but Paintsil has been an effective option with twenty appearances in all competitions with six goals and six assists, including five in the Europa League where he's been huge in allowing Spurs to rotate their squad. Spurs' failed pursuits of a premier center-back to replace Cristian Romero was ridiculed but they've conceded the least amount of goals this season, just seven.
Could the lack of high end depth eventually hurt Tottenham? We won't know until the business end of the season when the fixtures are going to be rolling in, especially if Spurs make a deep run in Europa. But the month of December brings plenty of opportunity to rest players and play some high end football without a quick turnaround. The marquee matchup is the December 6th match against Newcastle away, the last team to beat Spurs. They then play Aston Villa, after a midweek trip to Strasbourg against Valentin Barco's former team, before playing three straight London rivals in Fulham (A), Arsenal (H) and Chelsea (A) where they'll get a chance to perhaps avenge past year's of trauma and end the month not only still atop the league but widen the gap with second place Chelsea, third-place Newcastle and make Champions League football a challenge for fifth place Arsenal.
