🟥 TEXAS A&M RECRUITING — 2031 CLASS
Texas A&M continues to assemble one of the top recruiting groups in the country, currently sitting at
#12 nationally with a class centered around defensive talent, athletic versatility, and long-term quarterback development. The Aggies added multiple impact defenders while continuing to build SEC-caliber depth across the roster.
Leading the class is four-star defensive tackle
Colt Simms from Muskegon, Michigan, ranked as the
#2 DT nationally. At 305 pounds, Simms brings elite strength and interior disruption potential, giving Texas A&M a future anchor along the defensive front.
The Aggies also strengthened the back seven with four-star cornerback
Jermaine McNitt and four-star linebacker
Doug Benshaw, adding speed, range, and physicality to the defense. Versatile athlete
Keenan Griggs adds another dynamic piece at 6’4”, capable of contributing on either side of the football thanks to his size and explosiveness.
At quarterback, Texas A&M secured a pair of intriguing prospects in
Tory Foucha and
Femi Fuata. Foucha offers prototypical pocket-passer size with a strong vertical arm, while Fuata brings mobility and developmental upside as a dual-threat option. The class is rounded out by offensive guard
Randy MacChristopher, who provides valuable depth and toughness in the trenches.
