3-4-2-1 is about the most attacking one can get in EA FC26 - what's the rest of your tactics? How high do you position your defensive line? What kind of passing? What kind of roles for the players?

I let one of the central midfielders have a holding role, whilst the other joins the attack along with the wing backs. There was times in the Community Shield final, where I had six players attacking at the same time with only the holding midfielder and three central defenders staying behind. Having played with a lone striker and a number 10 last season, I can certainly feel the numerical superiority up front by changing the approach. But I do also feel that I'm going to concede more goals playing this way.

I mean if we are looking for Ultra realism, you have it here man! All perfect signings for Utd. I hope we follow your blueprint this summer! Interesting to see the formation you are using now in Amorims. But with better signings you can make it work. Kambwala is a good addition. And I like the 3 Lungs Sano signing. Man I loved Park back in the day. We need someone like that. I think John McGinn is a similar type for Villa. Winning a double is absolutely nuts for Utd. Never thought I'd see the days again so big props for that one. What an incredible title race last season. All timer.

Thanks mate! Yeah I try to keep it somewhat realistic. And the Sano / Park connection made sense to me as well.
Funny you mention McGinn. I remember Alex Ferguson speaking fondly of him some years back, and I've followed him with interest ever since. What a player he is. Maybe he could have had a move to a bigger club at some point. But there's also something beautiful about these players staying at their clubs, achieving a bigger legacy there than finding themselves at a bigger address, but on the bench. Kalvin Phillips and Jack Grealish spring to mind as players, who would probably have been better off staying where they came from. Regardless of the trophies won by the latter at City.
