Good wins vs Newcastle and Spurs, but poor draw to Derby. I see McGrath on the bench there. Was still able to perform on once off games even at that stage. Growing pains still for Arsenal but the trajectory is upward leading into next season.

Important derby win for Arsenal there. Something's happening in the squad though. Paul Merson showing dissatisfaction and all. Wenger wanting to see the season out before he makes any decisions. The summer is nigh, and it will be an interesting one!

You know how journalism works, always stirring up the pot  In real life, Merson did leave after this season, though -- it is the perfect time to break up as Overmars is coming.

Oof. Can't be dropping those points down the stretch here.

Dropped points at home vs Wednesday. Not ideal.

They were an upper half team back then, so I guess it could happen. At least we bounced back quickly!

Sorry for the lack of updates -- both my GF and I got struck by a bad case of the flu. Slowly recovering...

Good job getting back on track against Forest despite Alf-Inge causing you trouble early on.

Interesting links with Gaizka Mendieta. He was a remarkable player back then and could perhaps be a good fit for Arsenal...
