December Week 4 | Long Island, NY

Match #1: nWo Wolfpac vs. The Hardy Boyz | Two on Two Tag Team
The Hardy Boyz did it yet again. For the third straight week they were able to isolate one member of the nWo, pick him apart, and beat them in tag team action. This time it was Scott Hall, who was beaten down and bloodied by the Hardyz before eventually being pinned after a Jeff Hardy Swanton Bomb. After the match, Kevin Nash and Sting refused to even console their teammate, simply walking away backstage without him. Complete disarray and disorder within the nWo faction, and it doesn't look like they'll be able to turn this around and save their tag titles at Night of Champions on Sunday.
Winners: Hardy Boyz by pinfall.

Match #2: Lita vs. Trish Stratus | Backstage Brawl
Lita caught Trish walking around backstage and clubbed her from behind over the head. This triggered a brawl between the two women, one that was fairly even until Lita got her hands on a chair after whipping Trish into a locker. She started to wear out the chair over Trish's back, before hitting her with a DDT on the hard concrete that left the Women's Champion unconscious.
Winner: Lita by knockout.

Match #3: Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels | Backstage Brawl
Shawn Michaels tried to mimic the tactics Lita deployed earlier in the night, attacking an unsuspecting Randy Orton from behind backstage. The brawl between the two spilled into the locker room area as Shawn started to gain the upper hand on the intercontinental champion. HBK threw Orton into a trash can and as the dazed Orton started to get to his feet, started tuning up the band for a Sweet Chin Music. But just before he could connect, Batista burst into the locker room and leveled HBK with a spear. By the time HBK could get back to his feet, Orton was spry and ready and hit him with an RKO, leaving him motionless on the floor.
Winner: Randy Orton by knockout.

Main Event: The Rock & Steve Austin vs. Triple H & Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman | Two on Two Tag Team
Triple H came out to the ring to talk up himself and Evolution, and how with the nWo fracturing, they were the top faction in the WWE and he was the company's #1 guy. That didn't sit well at all with The Rock, who came out to hold his title high and show HHH who the actual top dog in the company was. Shortly after The Rock, Brock Lesnar got involved. The youngster pointed out how he had a pinfall victory over The Rock on Smackdown! two weeks ago, and that sparked a brawl between the three stars. Brock and HHH eventually realized they could team up and started beating down the champion before Stone Cold Steve Austin, who had his own beef with HHH and Evolution came down to make the save. Before things could get any crazier. Vince McMahon came out to make an official tag team match between the four stars the main event of the show. During the match, Brock started for his team and physically dominated both Austin and The Rock in individual matchups. The two realized they needed to work together and did exactly that, eventually hitting Brock with a finisher each but he was still able to kick out to the bewilderment of the two stars and eventually tag in HHH. It then essentially became a one on one matchup between The Rattlesnake and The Game, with Austin coming out on top after reversing a pedigree into a Stone Cold Stunner to pick up the victory.
