Match #1: Stephanie McMahon w/ Vince McMahon vs. Mickie James (c) | Normal Match | Women's Championship
Stephanie McMahon announced before this match started that she intended to put an end to the women's division, and that if she defeated Mickie, the title would be rendered defunct. Mickie quickly dispatched her with a Hanging DDT thought to retain her title and job.

Match #2: Diamond Dallas Page vs. Rhyno (c) | Extreme Rules | Hardcore Championship
DDP never actually lost the Hardcore Title when it was vacated not long after he won it in December 2002, and he looked eager to get it back in this match. And it showed when he got off to a very quick start against the champion. Neither superstar went for a weapon, but things did get very vicious when they spilled outside the ring as both guys used their environment to their advantage. Rhyno hit DDP with a spear through the barricade that looked like it put him out of commission, and it turned out to have done exactly that when Rhyno rolled him back into the ring to pick up the victory.

Match #3: Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho | Normal Match | Intercontinental Championship
These two went back and forth throughout the match for the vacant Intercontinental Championship, but it was Orton who would land the first major strike, hitting Jericho with an RKO out of nowhere. Jericho had the ring savvy to grab onto the bottom rope though to prevent the three count. The match continued and later Jericho hit the trio of powerbombs on Orton. He then tried to lock in the Liontamer, but Orton, too, reached for the ropes to break the submission hold. When Orton got to his feet he caught Y2J by surprise with a quick DDT and then went to the opposite corner to line up a Punt Kick. Jericho moved out of the way at the last second though and then locked a surprised Orton into a Walls of Jericho in the center of the ring. With nowhere to, Orton was forced to tap as Jericho became the new Intercontinental Champion.
► Show Spoiler
Match #4: Edge & Christian vs. Hardy Boyz (c) | Tag Team | World Tag Team Championships
Edge and Christian earned the right to face off against the Hardyz, but failed to take full advantage of the opportunity. They didn't seem to have the champs well scouted and looked out of sync and unprepared. It all came to a head when Jeff and Matt hit the Extreme Combination on Christian, and then Jeff knocked Edge off the apron while Matt covered Christian to pick up the win.
► Show Spoiler
Match #5: John Cena vs. British Bulldog | Normal Match | United States Championship
It was surprisingly British Bulldog who went for the relatively cheap tactic of attacking his opponent from behind before this match. It had been a long time since Bulldog had a shot at any title and he wanted to gain any advantage possible. He hurt Cena badly, and when the match officially started after they entered the ring, continued to do the same. Cena eventually made a comeback though, overpowering the veteran and hitting him with the Five Knuckle Shuffle followed by an F-U to pick up the win and regain the United States Championship.
► Show Spoiler
Match #6: Brock Lesnar vs. Steve Austin | Normal Match | #1 Contender's Match
Brock Lesnar almost won immediately, leveling Austin with a huge F-5 early in the contest, but the Texas Rattlesnake kicked out at the last second. Lesnar's surprise at this allowed Austin to get in a groove, and eventually hit him with the Stone Cold Stunner, but Heyman distracted the referee to prevent the pinfall. Austin was not having that at all though, he chased Heyman outside the ring and stunnered him on the outside. When he came back in, Brock almost got him in position for another F-5 by surprise, but Austin slipped out and hit Brock with a second Stunner and pinned him to pick up a major win.
► Show Spoiler
Main Event: The Rock vs. AJ Styles (c) | Normal Match | WWE Championship
The Rock was clearly still hobbled by the leg injury he sustained in his last match and it gave Styles a huge advantage. The champ targeted the leg again with various different strikes and another painful leg lock submission. While he couldn't force The Rock to submit, he was able to force the Great One to the ground. Styles looked to end it with a Phenomenal Forearm as The Rock slowly got to his feet, but The Rock caught him and delivered a Rock Bottom follow by a People's Elbow to stun AJ and win back the WWE Championship.

Match #1: Stephanie McMahon w/ Triple H vs. Mickie James (c) | Normal Match | Women's Championship
Stephanie McMahon announced before this match started that not only would she be champion if she won, but Mickie James would also be fired from the WWE. Mickie looked to quickly dispatched the Chairman's daughter with a Hanging DDT, but Triple H pulled the ref out of the ring preventing him from counting to three. Mickie was distracted by this as she got into a heated argument with Stephanie's husband, which gave the Billionaire Princess enough time to recover and catch her with a Pedigree to win the Women's Championship and also terminate Mickie's WWE Contract.

Cena tried to put up a good fight, but an eventual attempt at a running shoulder block was countered into a Powerslam as British Bulldog became the new United States Champion. After the match, he grabbed a microphone and asked the ring side announcer to bring a case to the ring. Bulldog opened it and inside was the European Championship. Bulldog stated that he was reinstating that title and replacing the United States Championship with it now that he held the belt.
