West Virginia gets two more commits after the bye week

Rejoice Mountaineers fans, two more recruits have committed to your beloved football team. Not just any recruits, but they are also top tier four star recruits.

After the win against Iowa State, the number one strong safety in the country Ira Harris immediately announced that he was going to West Virginia. Standing at 6'2" and 185 pounds, Harris has been praised by scouts for his tackling skills. While not a hard hitter, the four star recruit from Ross Township, Pennsylvania, wraps up better than most defenders. With Dravon Askew-Henry graduating after this season, there is a high chance that Harris will be playing significant playing time in the Mountaineers' 3-3-5 defense as the second strong safety on the field.

The other recruit is the fourth best quarterback prospect Damian Gordon from Forest City, North Carolina. While NC State showed some interest, West Virginia was vigorously recruiting Gordon. Since Grier is leaving after this season, the Mountaineers have to look for their replacement at quarterback. If Jack Allison or Trey Lowe are not the answer, Gordon may have his opportunity next year to start. The 6'3 207 pound quarterback has great accuracy and a decent arm with some mobility that could help him avoid pressure, especially with how the Mountaineers' offensive line may look like next season.

I don't think he does. I forgot about doing this. I might have to start including it in my chise.

Scars, great job against Iowa State they usually get some upsets each year. However, Grier with 2 interceptions :dunkface:
