Prototype vs Big Boss man vs Mankind vs Ken Shamrock


The Hardcore Championship is on the line!


The action kicked off immediately with ladders in the ring within minutes of the opening bell.


It almost had the feel of a tag team match early with Mankind and Prototype seemingly working together against Shamrock and Boss Man.


Mankind makes the first attempt at the belt.




Prototype pulls Mankind off the ladder, effectively ending any alliance the two may have had.


Mankind sends Boss Man and Shamrock tumbling off the ladder.


Boss Man lands a chair shot on Mankind while Prototype lays out Shamrock.


Prototype makes his way up the ladder.


But Shamrock shuts him down.




Prototype returns the favor.


Shamrock heading north.


Prototype takes Shamrock off the ladder before being taken out himself.


Boss Man awaits an opportunity while Shamrock works the knee of Mankind and Prototype recovers outside the ring.


Shamrock scrambles up the ladder while Boss Man and Mankind square off.




Shamrock makes quick work of getting the belt and retains the Hardcore Championship!

July 2003 | Week One

At the open of the show Ken Shamrock announced that he felt the Hardcore Championship should be defended 24/7 and that he would face anyone later tonight with it on the line.


A few minutes after Shamrock's announcement Prototype and Mankind were seen talking and shaking hands backstage.

Later, after Shamrock made his way to the ring and announced that he was ready for an opponent it was Mankind who answered the call.

The two battled back and forth with Shamrock seemingly gaining an advantage.


However, Prototype snuck down through the crowd and caught Shamrock by surprise, hitting him with a powerbomb outside the ring.


Shamrock never recovered and Mankind was able to reunite with the Hardcore Championship.

July 2003 | Week Two

Ken Shamrock took to the ring right as the show opened. He began to demand a rematch with Mankind for the Hardcore Championship.


Before he could finish the sentence Mankind's music hit.

Mankind gained the upper hand early on and despite a couple attempts to swing things in his favor by Shamrock it was Mankind coming away with the victory.


However, Big Boss Man jumped at the opportunity to catch Mankind with his guard down and try to reclaim the Hardcore Championship.


Big Boss Man made quick work of the unsuspecting Mankind, getting the three count after a vicious sidewalk slam.


Big Boss Man's celebration was also cut short.


Boss Man refused to give up the title he had just claimed and he seemed to have the upper hand early on.


Prototype surged back, the crowd firmly behind him.


Boss Man staggered right into a powerbomb.


Prototype secured the pin and claimed the first Championship belt of his young career!

July 2003 | Week Three

Prototype appeared on the big screen to open the show and announced he would defend the Hardcore Championship against anyone tonight.

After the first commercial break it was time for the challenger to make their presence known.


The challenger was quite a shock to everyone in the arena.

Prototype wasted no time, sneaking in during Hurricane's entrance and attacking with a kendo stick.



Despite Prototype gaining the upper hand early The Hurricane did manage to mount an offensive attack after countering an attempted scoop slam by Prototype.



In the end Prototype's power proved to be too much for the scrappy challenger and he retained the Hardcore belt after hitting a powerbomb.
