Ending this chise when this tournament is done, it's been a good run but I think the ~100 page mark will be a good spot to close.

May 2007 | RAW | Week 3

Rock comes out sporting his new High Chief look.

Match #1: (#5) Shawn Michaels vs. (#13) Batista | One on One | Quarter-Final :threehalfstar:
Shawn Michales was overpowered and outmatched for size but he had the bigger heart. He had a counter for everything The Animal threw at him, including when Batista went for a Spear to kill the match and HBK dodged at the last moment to send him flying into the ring post. When Batista recovered he was met with a stiff Sweet Chin Music to the head as he was pinned and Michaels advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Match #2: (#1) Stone Cold vs. (#9) Kurt Angle | One on One | Quarter-Final :threestar:
Austin offered Angle a handshake at the beginning of this match but pulled it back and put up two middle fingers instead. Kurt wasn't having it and slapped Stone Cold clean in the face and we were off to the races. Angle nearly had Austin beaten a couple of times when he locked him into a rear naked choke and later an Ankle Lock, but each time the Rattlesnake made his way to the ropes to break the submission. He would eventually polish off Angle by hitting him with the Lou Thesz Press and then a nasty Stunner when he got to his feet to qualify for the 2nd semi-final spot against HBK.

Match #3: (#3) Hulk Hogan vs. (#11) Randy Orton | One on One | Quarter-Final :twostar:
Orton came into this match talking a lot of trash about ending the legend of Hulk Hogan, going back to his Legend Killer roots. That didn't happen. Orton got overzealous trying to take things to the outside and do what he did to Cena in the Round of 16. He was nearing the 8 count and went for a final suplex to put down Hogan and go for the count out win, but Hogan countered it. He then leveled Orton with a Big Boot and slipped back into the ring himself to pick up the victory and book himself a spot in the semis.

Main Event: (#2) The Rock vs. (#10) Roman Reigns | One on One | Quarter Final :fourstar:
Rock. Reigns. High Chief. Tribal Chief. Cousin vs. cousin. Roman Reigns came out hot, using his youth to out-speed The Rock early on. But it became clear throughout the match that The Rock was simply better. Each time Roman seemed to have him right where he wanted him, The Rock pulled out something that left his younger cousin stumped. The most crucial time being when Roman went for a Spear after bludgeoning The Rock with several punches. Rock jumped over the Spear, sending Roman flying into the canvas. When Roman got up he was met with a Spinebuster. The Rock then removed his elbow pad and delivered a thunderous People's Elbow to Reigns but to his bewilderment, Roman kicked out at 2. For a second The Rock got very frustrated but then his face turned to one of calm. He picked up Roman slowly, who was barely moving and said, "I love you cousin, but I'm still the High Chief" and delivered a powerful Rock Bottom. There would be no kicking out this time as Rock pinned Reigns for the three count to advance to the semi-finals.

May 2007 | RAW | Week 4

Rock hits the People's Elbow on Hulk Hogan.

Match #1: (#1) Stone Cold vs. (#5) Shawn Michaels | One on One | Semi-Final :fourstar:
Michaels had this match under control for the majority of it. He was simply a better wrestler than Stone Cold and it showed. But Austin was the better brawler and that would prove crucial. HBK wanted to give the crowd a show and started tuning up the band late on as a bloodied Austin rose to his feet, but he didn't realize he was giving Stone Cold time to recuperated. Austin dodged the Sweet Chin Music and spun HBK around before delivering a vicious Stone Cold Stunner that left him unconscious in the center of the ring. Not wanting to take any chances, Austin picked up HBK's corpse and delivered a second Stunner for good measure, pinning the Heart Break Kid to the mat to reach the finals of the tournament.

Main Event: (#2) The Rock vs. (#3) Hulk Hogan | One on One | Semi-Final :threehalfstar:
The Rock made relatively short work of Hogan, who hadn't really won either of his previous tournament matches fairly. Hogan looked to have a chance at moments but went down fairly easily to the People's Elbow as The Rock advanced to a tournament final with his arch-nemesis and long-time rival, Stone Cold Steve Austin.
