Patriots overcome early struggles to take care of the Titans
It was a mixed bag from New England Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye on Sunday, who was sacked for a safety on the team's first offensive drive against the Tennessee Titans and threw a pick six in the third quarter. Maye would respond strongly with a 50-yard touchdown pass to Tyquan Thornton, going right at Roger McCreary who intercepted his pass, and his second rushing touchdown of the day in the fourth quarter to put away the Titans 32-22 for his second career win.

Will Levis found some success as well, throwing for 309 yards but was sacked six times and forced to settle for field goals early on in the game, not throwing a touchdown until the final minutes of the game. The Titans' running game was non existent, held to just ten yards from running backs with Levis leading the team with 22 rushing yards prior to the Patriots dedicating a spy to Levis.

Maye was also effective on the ground, rushing for 54 yards. Running back Antonio Gibson was benched following his second fumble in two weeks, getting only two carries in favor of JaMycal Hasty who carried the ball five times for 34 yards and had a 40-yard reception.
