Bills' offense explodes against Patriots defense as Drake Maye's turnover struggles continue
The New England Patriots had a chance to make it a ten point game late in the second quarter when Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo opted to keep his offense on the field and go for it on fourth down, needing two yards to go into the endzone.

Not only would quarterback Drake Maye be intercepted, Buffalo's Josh Allen would find Khalil Shakir for the 99-yard touchdown on the ensuing play after the Patriots defense went all out for the safety. It would be the first of four consecutive touchdowns for the Bulls in their 48-28 rout of the Patriots.

James Cook scored two touchdowns in the third quarter, including a 92-yard run and finished the game with 204 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Not much was needed from Allen in the second half who still managed to put up 303 yards and three touchdowns while also adding 89 yards on the ground.

It was another two interception game for Maye, whose second interception came on a miscommunication with running back JaMycal Hasty, who played a bigger role due to an injury to Antonio Gibson. Maye did find some success in the second half, throwing for 325 yards and three touchdowns.
