Hurricanes make easy work of Temple, empty the benches in second half
It's starting to feel like the old Miami again when true freshman Javier Torrez, normally buried in the depth chart, finally got to play in the second half and rushed for 195 yards on just twelve carries with six of his carries going for at least twenty yards in Miami's 63-13 win over Temple on Saturday.
Miami's starters played just a half with Keke Hagg throwing for 193 yards and two touchdowns with two additional rushing touchdowns in the first half. The Hurricanes would play three more quarterbacks in Bernie Flowers, Stephen Isaacs and Jeff Beavers. Flowers led two touchdown drives and Isaacs led a touchdown drive himself which ended with Torrez' 25 yard touchdown run.
Freshman Seth Doss also scored his first career touchdown

Homestead Broderick Booker commits to the Hurricanes in hopes of being the next great Miami running back
Eddie Fernandez -- 247 Sports Miami Insider
Four-star running back Broderick Booker was in attendance to watch Javier Torrez rush for nearly two hundred yards in his first career game and decided to pull the trigger, committing to Miami over offers from Alabama, UCF and Georgia.
Booker is a powerful runner at six-foot and 228 pounds with similarities to current Miami running back Kaseem Dalton in terms of running style. Booker does have some wiggle to his game but he's at his best when he's going down hill and running through arm tackles and into the secondary with enough getaway speed to break off the occasional long run.
Booker is the latest member of Miami's recruiting class, which is currently ranked second behind Oregon. He joins four-star defensive end Jeremiah Sprinkle (Orlando), four-star offensive tackle Glen Salaam (Miami), four-star offensive guard Quincy Hall (Lakeland) and three-star tight end Ben Casillas (Fort Lauderdale) in a class that has been uber focused on dominating the state of Florida, and South Florida especially.

We play Notre Dame next who has a shitty record but should be a high OVR team, similar to Auburn
