Summary: Heat Nation welcomed back Josh Richardson as he saw his first minutes since injuring his knee in January. As Miami missed their first five shots, it looked like they were heading for their third straight loss before Hassan Whiteside put in a layup. Chicago had a very strong start as they knocked down three point shots with ease, allowing them to take a 56-48 lead at halftime. RJ Barrett was matching Antonio Snow point for point in the first half, both players headed to the locker room with 21.
Miami managed to tighten up their defense in the second half as Richardson was able to lock up Barrett and slow his scoring down and force his teammates to step up. The trio of Richardson, Snow, and Mikal Bridges had the fans on their feet as Snow grabbed a rebound, took two dribbles before passing it ahead to Richardson, who quickly flipped it ahead to Bridges to finish with the dunk.

Chicago is now 1 game above .500 with this loss.
