Reading is Fundamental smh about to turn this into a box score and pics chise smhSoapy wrote: ↑04 Apr 2025, 15:41It was a quiet day for Ja'Marr Chase who caught just two passes for sixteen yards despite Burrow's 392 yards passing. He was primarily guarded by Marcus Jones while Higgins drew the matchup with Gonzalez in a competitive duel that Gonzalez got the edge with the interception while Higgins did catch six passes but for just 49 yards, averaging 8.1 yards per reception.

‣ NFL 2026 Regular Season Week 9 - Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Massachusetts
(4-3) Chicago Bears at New England Patriots (5-3)
CHI | 13 | 14 | 3 | 0 | 30
NE | 0 | 7 | 15 | 13 | 35
New England overcomes sluggish start to pull off the comeback win over Chicago
It was a house of horrors for New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye in the first three quarters against the Chicago Bears, throwing three interceptions, including a pick six, to have New England trailing 30-7 halfway through the third quarter.
It would set the stage for perhaps the greatest comeback effort in the young quarterback's career thus far, throwing three touchdowns in the final quarter and a half to outduel draft classmate Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears 35-30.
The Patriots' two young safeties made the most pivotal plays of the game with Kamari Ramsey batting down Williams' fourth down attempt into the endzone to take the lead on Chicago's final play while Peyton Bowen helped jump start New England's comeback efforts with his interception of Williams in the third quarter, allowing the Patriots to score fifteen points in the span of three minutes to make it 30-22 entering the fourth quarter.
Maye would find Christian Watson for a gain of 35-yards on third and twelve to keep the drive alive and a few plays later, connected with Stefon Diggs in the endzone to make it a two point game with ten minutes remaining following the failed two point conversion.
The Bears offensive struggled continued as another drive stalled at the New England 43-yard line with the Bears fourth down attempt falling short as Williams was chased out of the pocket and was unable to pick up the first down with his legs.
New England then converted consecutive third downs with rushes by Antonio Gibson and then a 25-yard completion to Nyck Harbor on third and four from the Chicago 39-yard line which led to Watson's go-ahead touchdown with four minutes left to give the Patriots their first lead of the game which they would hold on to following a goal-to-go stand that was aided by a ten-yard penalty that backed Chicago to the eighteen yard line. Williams would throw three straight incompletions, all intended for D.J. Moore.

Maye been HIM in the clutch, need to stop the slow starts though
probably my worse game with Maye in this chise, just inaccurate and bad decisions in that first halfCaptain Canada wrote: ↑11 Apr 2025, 11:18Three interceptions is nasty work but at least we got the win
