Poor Hawaii having flashbacks to that Sugar Bowl.
Georgia beat them so badly 3 Bulldogs ended up on the Heisman watch :pgdead:

Good job just totally controlling the second half vs CMU. Pulled away from them.

Defense really turned up for that one against CMU. But yeah, Hawai'i going through it over there after dealing with Georgia. They got another wagon even with Carson Beck gone.

Superstar effort from Haston, receiving game has UMass punishing Ohio early and often

UMass delivered a dominant performance in Week 5, rolling to a 49-9 blowout victory over an overmatched Ohio Bobcats team that’s still reeling from significant offseason roster turnover.

The Minutemen came out firing, with quarterback Ahmad Haston putting together a stellar first half. Haston threw four touchdown passes before halftime, efficiently slicing through a young and inexperienced Ohio secondary. His favorite target was wide receiver Kezion Dia-Johnson, who hauled in two first-half touchdowns, showing off his speed and route-running as he torched Ohio's severely undermanned secondary.

The Bobcats, decimated by the transfer portal during the offseason, struggled to establish any rhythm on either side of the ball. Offensively, Ohio couldn't keep pace, settling for just three field goals as the UMass defense consistently shut down drives and generated pressure in key situations. Red zone inefficiency and missed assignments plagued the Bobcats throughout the contest.

UMass kept its foot on the gas in the second half, adding a pair of passing touchdowns from backup quarterbacks, sophomore A.J. Hairstron and senior Ryan Jankowski, who was thrust into the game after the starters were pulled in the second half. They managed to connect with transfer wide receiver Donte Lee Jr. and tight end Owen Anderson. The Minutemen's depth and physicality overwhelmed a rebuilding Ohio squad, showcasing just how far the programs are trending in opposite directions.

With the win, UMass moves to a strong midseason position, led by a surging offense and growing confidence in both trenches. Ohio, meanwhile, continues to search for stability amidst a challenging rebuild.
