Bro! when i saw buddy do what the Saints player did against Stefon Diggs in that walk off touchdown, i lost my shit lmao
it was partly my fault for playing Quarters instead of just going 3-man deep but i also didn't want them to pick up chunks and set up for the GW field goal

Owls on the Prowl: 'That Thursday Night in Kennesaw' will live on forever
About an hour after arguably the most improbable win in program history, Kennesaw State head coach Bubba Mack was still in a state of disbelief as he walked into the studio of 107.5 The Fan for his usual post-game radio appearance. The producers weren't sure if Mack was going to attend and wouldn't have blamed him if he didn't. They offered him the opportunity to do the radio hit the next day but Mack was adamant on upholding his responsibilities as he put on his headphones, took a sip of his water and then spoke with callers for the next ninety minutes.
"They just never gave up," Mack said of the Owls crazy 31-30 win over the Bulldogs that culminated with a 76-yard walk-off touchdown from Dexter Williams II to Christian Moss, two names that Mack says will forever be in the history books of the program.
"I don't care what happens, we'll always have tonight," Mack continued, "For those guys to fight the day they did, to the last second, to the last play, it was the kind of fight that you preach about having in the offseason and they showed it tonight."
Mack was quick to point out that the Owls came back not once but three times against Louisiana Tech, overcoming a 17-3 first half deficit and then had a chance to take the lead with fourth and goal from the one-yard line with 2:09 remaining but had to settle for a field goal following a false start penalty that only cut into the lead. They would get into position for a long field goal to take the lead only to allow the 69-yard touchdown on fourth down with seven seconds left in the game.
Mack also defended senior safety Milon Jones who had a chance to wrap up the Louisiana Tech receiver but was unable to locate him or deliver the hit.
"Everyone makes mistakes throughout a game," Mack said of Jones, who finished with six tackles, "We didn't handle as a coaching staff some of those fourth down decisions the right way. We had one earlier in the game where we came away with no points from the one-yard line and then in the fourth, we hesitated, got the play in late and then we get the false start when [Dexter Williams] is trying to make some adjustments at the line of scrimmage and the clock is winding down. [Jones] mistake was just the last one so he'll learn from it, he'll get better but I'm super proud of that kid and the way he carried himself afterwards."
The Owls have a bye this upcoming week before playing the first of four road games in six weeks, beginning with a trip to Miami to play FIU.

Last Meeting
On November 23, 2024, Kennesaw State rallied from a 26–17 deficit late in the third quarter to defeat FIU 27–26 at Fifth Third Stadium in Kennesaw. FIU built a 20–17 halftime lead thanks to three touchdown passes from Keyone Jenkins, including two to Eric Rivers, who set FIU’s single-season TD‑catch mark (125 yards, 2 TDs). Kennesaw State leaned on ground success and defensive stops in the second half. Davis Bryson scored two rushing touchdowns—including the game-winner with six minutes remaining—and the Owl defense forced a key fumble and secured a final interception to seal the comeback.
Players to Watch
QB Keyone Jenkins (Jr) | 6′0″, 190 lbs | 79 OVR, 82 SPD, 88 THP, 84 SAC, 77 MAC, 81 DAC
‣ Jenkins had a solid 2024 campaign with twenty-two passing touchdowns but has missed most of this season with an injury, which has sidelined him for all but a few snaps in the opener.
With Jenkins expected to be back into the lineup this game, he should help buoy a Panthers offense that could potentially still make a run for a conference championship appearance despite the slow start. He commands the offense with accurate throws and mobility—if FIU can control the line and give Jenkins time, he’ll exploit Kennesaw State’s discipline issues, especially on play‑action. Versatility and decision-making under pressure will be key.
HB Kejon Owens (Sr) | 5'11", 200lbs | 84 OVR, 89 SPD, 93 ACC, 82 BTK, 84 SPM, 87 JKM
‣ The senior back brings physicality and quickness, already totaling over 500 yards on the season with seven touchdowns. His speed and elusiveness make him a threat in both inside and outside zones. Kennesaw State's defense has struggled throughout the year and Owens is another talented running back that could eclipse the century mark pretty easily.
EDGE Lamont Green Jr. (R-Fr) | 6'3", 229lbs | 75 OVR, 79 SPD, 87 ACC, 86 FMV
‣ A highly‑touted transfer from Florida State, Green brings athleticism and burst off the edge, built on a standout high school career that included over 20 sacks and 29 tackles-for-loss in his senior year.
Green has been FIU’s primary disruptor up front and should be the Owls' priority in slowing down. His sideline-to-sideline quickness makes him particularly effective against stretch runs and counters—which Kennesaw State frequently uses. If he can generate push or collapse the edge consistently, it’ll force the Owls into quick passes or disrupted blocking schemes, giving FIU’s pursuit a chance to make plays.

That game was legendary. Glad you beat LA Tech as well; Caesar wouldn't have let you live it down losing to his ol' girl.

Kennesaw State looking to turn viral game-winning touchdown into recruiting success
Keke Hagg
Oct 20, 2024, 06:48 PM ET
KENNESAW, Ga. -- Kennesaw State head coach Bubba Mack won his first C-USA game two weeks ago in improbable fashion as the Owls scored on a walk-off, 76-yard touchdown to take down Louisiana Tech and win just the second in-conference game in as many years since making the jump from FCS to FBS last season.
The Owls will head south to play Florida International this week on a Tuesday night matchup that will allow the Owls another opportunity on primetime to continue to make a name for themselves and hopefully begin resonating with recruits.
Mack and his coaching staff currently don't have a player committed to the class after three-star quarterback Lynn Landolt (Wake Forest), three-star receiver Shareef Turay (South Alabama), three-star guard C.J. Westfall (Liberty) and three-star cornerback Garret Flood (Florida Atlantic) have all committed elsewhere in the past few weeks.
Kennesaw State is trending in a positive direction with a few of their targets, including defensive tackle Tobias Singleton, who is the teammate of Landolt. The Owls have a trio of Moultrie, Georgia natives that they are closing in on in receiver Hasheem Nwokeji, edge rusher George Imatorbhebhe and linebacker Tiquan Regis. Imatorbhebhe is an impressive looking pass rusher with interest from Georgia and Auburn, although neither program have officially offered him. Regis is also drawing interest from UConn, Mack's former school.
The Owls have struggled this season in closing recruitments but with a viral moment such as the game-winner and already eclipsing last year's win total, they might finally be garnering the momentum needed to flip the script.

Keke Hagg becoming a journalist instead of an NFL star is appropriate
Given how slim that board is with no commitments, are you banking on there being enough available options in the offseason to fill that out if need be?
