Cardinal carry momentum from Notre Dame win with three more commitments

Stanford has landed two more commitments for their recruiting class in three-star cornerback Benjamin Streeter, three-star offensive tackle Shontrelle Madu and three-star EDGE Amar'e Tull committing to the Cardinal.

Streeter is listed at five-foot-ten and 161 pounds which is likely what kept him from being a higher rated cornerback as there are some questions and concerns around his size. He does have some 'stickiness' in coverage, a trait that head coach Bubba Mack has sought after during his time at Kennesaw State as the Cardinal ideally want to be able to play press coverage and rush their linebackers, leaving their secondary on islands.

Both Madu and Tull are interesting development projects with their size at six-foot-four and 300 pounds for Madu and Tull being your prototypical stand-up edge rusher at six-foot-six and 231 pounds with a frame that could get into the low 250s by the time he's ready to take the field.

The Cardinal did lose out on a four-star in Layne Cook who picked UCLA over Stanford. It'll be interesting to see if the Cardinal can start to build some momentum on the recruiting trail following last week's top 4 win over Notre Dame.
