SMU sold. Glad to see that it's not just against me that the AI plays prevent defense when leading by a point or two with 1:30 left to go.

Yeah, I started noticing that the safeties sprint twenty yards back right before the snap.

Stanford climbs into the top fifteen ranking with latest commitments
Chris Wallace -- 247Sports Stanford Football Insider

Stanford head coach Bubba Mack's first full recruiting class is currently ranked thirteenth in the country according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings and is the third ranked recruiting class in the conference behind Clemson (2) and Miami (12) thanks to commitments from running back Emmett Suggs, defensive tackle Shaquille Pullard and offensive lineman Jared March.

Suggs was a big time priority for this coaching staff who view him as a potential feature back down the road. Suggs has good contact balance and is an elusive bruiser at five-foot-ten and 204 pounds with an impressive frame that allows him to run through arm tackles.

In Pullard and March, the Cardinal continue to add impressive body types as Pullard is six-foot-three and 292 pounds while March is a six-foot-four, 313 pound offensive lineman that projects to play on the interior, either at guard or center.

Stanford beat out Kentucky for Pullard, right out of their backyard in Tennessee, which is a three-hour drive from Lexington compared to the 2,283 miles that separate his hometown from Stanford's campus.

The Cardinal have recently offered a trio of Alabama teammates in Mike Good, Carlos Whalen and JaMarcus Eakin. Good and Whalen are two top-20 receivers while Eakin is one of the highest ranked centers in the country this cycle. The three teammates, all ranked inside the top 100, have openly spoken about playing together at the next level and as it currently stands, Stanford is the only school to offer all three players as Good and Whalen both hold offers from LSU and Iowa State but Eakin does not.

As top target Clint Khaled continues to trend towards Oregon, expect Stanford to start pivoting their resources towards those three teammates in what would be a great haul for Mack and the coaching staff in their first full cycle.
