Keshawn gonna be thinking he that nigga after this run. Might not be afraid of pussy anymore after getting a 20-20!
You not slick trying to make Vic look like the victim of a vengeful baby mama either. Jessica got every right to shut his ass down. He only wanna be there because Angela dropped him.
Stefan gonna have to catch a hat to keep ol' girl quiet?
Nadia showing up in Portland to crash at Keshawn's crib in the works. We see the vibes.

A Cold Day in Hell - Episode 11
"You ready for this, old man?" Quincy clapped a hand on his shoulder, shaking Elijah out of his trance.
Elijah nodded, unable to speak past the tightness in his throat. Lorraine, ever the noticer, approached him and adjusted the collar of his button-down shirt, a familiar gesture that helped calm him.
"I really wish Ke could be here," Simone said, snapping another picture for her social media page of the mostly empty store as employees started to place themselves into position in anticipation of the opening.
"Your brother's got a job to do," Elijah replied, moving toward the front of the store. The brief FaceTime call from a hotel in Oklahoma City last night had been enough.
"We got about five minutes," Mateo called from the window, where he'd been watching the small crowd gather outside.
Elijah's hands were steady as he smoothed down the front of his shirt one more time and took his place behind the counter. This moment had lived in his dreams for so long—sometimes as a desperate hope, other times as a taunt of what might never be again.
"You look fantastic in a suit," Lorraine whispered, appearing at his side and slipping her hand into his. "You might need to keep it on tonight."
"We still kept that backroom office," Elijah chuckled.
"Don’t tease me with a good time," Lorraine smiled before turning her attention towards the door as the door chimed, their first customer.
…
Angela trudged up the stairs to her apartment, her backpack heavy with textbooks and her mind weighed down by the day's lectures. All she wanted was a hot shower, some tea, and the silence of her room to finish the ten-page paper that was turning into a bigger hassle than she expected, unable to put together more than a few sentences before being pulled away by her other responsibilities. She fumbled with her keys, the metal jangling against the door before she finally got it open.
The blast of music hit her first, followed by the sight of a shirtless man sprawled across their couch. His lean torso was covered in tattoos, basketball shorts practically by his knees as he scrolled through channels on their TV.
"Oh, hey Ang!" Paige's voice called from the kitchen. The smell of something fried wafted through the apartment as the air fryer hummed loudly.
The man glanced up, offering a half-smile that Angela didn't return. She didn't even recognize this one. Last week it was this White guy that seemed out of central casting for the reality TV show Love Island.
"Hey," Angela said flatly, dropping her keys in the ceramic dish by the door.
"This is Kobbie," Paige said, emerging from the kitchen with two plates of some chicken wings and fries. "That’s Angela."
"What's good?" Kobbie nodded, his eyes already drifting back to the television.
Angela returned a polite smile before slipping into the hallway that led into her room. How many guys had cycled through their living room this semester alone? Five? Six? She'd lost count. She wasn’t sure of the emotion that she was feeling as she opened the door into her room, placing her backpack on her dresser and taking a seat on her office chair, resisting the temptation to lay down in her bed until she had showered.
Jealousy? Not quite. Whatever they had experienced last year was just that: an experience. The silver lining of the shit that went down with Vic was that it served as the imperfect buffer to move past their brief tryst. Envy? Maybe she wanted what Paige had, the ability to cycle through men — and perhaps even women — without much care in the world, without being hurt, without all of the drama that the only relationship that Angela had ever known had brought to her door. Or maybe it was just plain old judgement, proving herself to not be as liberal as she wanted to be. It was one thing to talk about sexual liberation and casting aside puritanical ideals that were rooted in misogyny and the patriarchy.
Whatever it was, it would have to wait. For now, all that was on her mind was taking that shower.
…
Keshawn dragged himself down the hotel corridor, his muscles aching from the night's game. After a string of good games, they had gotten blown out by the Thunder which had turned their off-day into an early morning film session with the coaching staff perhaps not wanting their young team to get too complacent with their recent show of good form. All he wanted now was to collapse into bed and spend all day watching documentaries, coming in and out of his nap.
He swiped his keycard and pushed the door open.
"Surprise!"
"Candace?" Keshawn froze, still trying to put together what he was seeing in front of him as she stood there with her arms outstretched, "How did you get in here?"
"Nigga, you forget who I am?" she grinned, walking towards him. "This face card does not ever get declined, baby."
"When did you get here?" he asked, still processing her presence.
"I flew in this morning," she hugged him before taking a seat on his bed, crossing her legs, "We don’t have Atlanta until Friday so I figured why not? Especially with the way you’ve been playing, I feel like you deserved the reward of seeing yours truly."
Keshawn laughed, "I don’t know about all that. They blew us out last night."
"I watched the game this morning and I do know about that," she said, inviting him to join her on the edge of the bed, "Back to back Rookie of the Month?"
"You know how I do," he joked, "I don’t know, still feels like I’m just running around still. When you see guys like Shai or Jalen and how they’re getting to their spot, rising up, scoring easily? It’s like…damn, I’m still a rook, you know?"
Candace rolled her eyes. "You put the ball in the basket just like they do. Besides, I’d rather see you dunk that bitch then go to the free throw line twenty times."
"You’ve been on Twitter, haven’t you?"
"That’s all that’s in my feed now," Candace admitted, "I thought we had it bad as artists but y’all? Man, those fans are different. How about everything else? Not just the basketball part."
Keshawn leaned back on his elbows, considering the question. "It's... a lot. Good a lot, but still a lot. Like, I never thought I'd be signing autographs at airports, you know? Or have people taking pictures of me eating lunch."
"Welcome to the club," she laughed. "Just wait until they start making up stories about you."
"I don’t think I’m that famous," Keshawn laughed.
They ordered room service—steak frites for him, lobster salad for her—and spent the next few hours catching up. They talked about her ongoing tour, the crazy fans, the backstage drama between extras. Keshawn shared stories about the plane rides, his teammates and this new world he was being exposed to.
"I just wish I would have been there for the opening of the store," he admitted, setting his empty plate aside.
"That's tough," Candace nodded. "I’m sure everyone understands."
"Yeah, they do but still..." Keshawn trailed off. "This life... sometimes it feels like I'm missing pieces of my old one, you know? It doesn’t feel like me yet."
"That's how it is. You're in this weird in-between space right now. Not quite the kid from LA anymore, not fully this basketball player either."
"Exactly," he said, surprised by how precisely she'd captured his feelings. "It was the same way with you?"
"Definitely," she smiled. "Different industry, same shit."
A comfortable silence settled between them as Keshawn's thoughts drifted to his family back home, how much he knew that store meant to his father. The success of his rookie season felt both connected to and separate from his life in Los Angeles—like parallel tracks that occasionally intersected.
"So," Candace's voice pulled him back. "I've been thinking."
Something in her tone made Keshawn sit up straighter. "About?"
"Us," she said simply. "This thing we've been doing."
Keshawn's heart rate picked up. "We’re surely doing a thing."
"My tour wraps in three weeks," she continued. "And I just... I guess I want to know where we're going with this."
This was the conversation he'd been both anticipating and avoiding.
"I mean, I'm having fun," Candace added quickly. "But I'm also not some nineteen year old girl, Keshawn. I've done the casual thing. I've done the secret thing. I've done the public thing that blew up in my face. So I guess I'm just wondering what this is to you and I’m not asking for answer right now but when this tour ends, I’d like to know—"
"I don't need time to think about it," he said, the words coming easier than he'd expected. "I want this. Us. Like a real thing."
Her eyes widened slightly. "You’re sure? I don’t want to like rush you into anything."
"I’ve thought about it myself," he nodded, feeling suddenly confident. "It’s not a hard decision or question for me, honestly. I like what we have and I want to keep it going, progress it, everything."
A slow smile spread across Candace's face. "Keshawn Chase, are you trying to make me your girlfriend right now? Because if so, you're doing a terrible job of asking. You basketball niggas really have no game. You don’t know how to ask a girl to be your girlfriend?"
Keshawn ducked his head, embarrassed but smiling. "I've never actually done this before."
"Done what before?"
"Asked someone to be my girlfriend," he admitted, looking up at her. "I mean, not really."
Candace's teasing expression softened. "Wait, seriously? Never?"
"Nope."
"How is that even possible?" she gestured vaguely at all of him, "You had a late glow-up or something?"
"I don't know," Keshawn shrugged. "It just never happened for me."
"Well, in that case," she teased, "I'll be gentle with you."

Need to change the logos for the Spurs game but other than that, solid win. I know you dug deep for that dub.
