Yeah. I get it.. He was ready to start and probably made the right call. Draft has a low enough Overall rating, that I don't think he is a lock to leave after this year, so even if I had redshirted him, he could've sat for a year as the #2... Will be interesting to see if he sticks with ASU for his career thought.. I did lower the % chances/# of CPU players transfering so that might help.

Damn, tough losses on the field and recruiting board

They keep piling up.. I had 4 more again this week.. It's like getting kicked in the ball, especially when I have them #1 and I have Hard sell on with all A grades in their Top-3 wants, and I am #1 and then all of a sudden I load next week and they sign somewhere else. I don't know what else I can do.

WEEK 10 AROUND THE LEAGUE UPDATE

With the arrival of Week 10, we move from looking at the Top-25 to looking at the current CFP Rankings.. Here is a look the the rankings going into Week 10.


#1 Oklahoma State (7-0).
"The Cowboys are coming off a huge win over #9 Nebraska and are 1 of just 4 undefeated teams left in the country.. The Cowboys still have to face #7 Oklahoma in Week 12 and have (6-1) Kansas in Week 14 as they close out the season.

#2 Ohio State (6-1)
The Buckeyes face #21 Wisconsin in Week 10 and play @ #24 Michigan in Week 14.

#3 Georgia (6-1)
The Bulldogs are coming off a huge (27-20) win over #4 Miami but now face #14 Florida in Week 10 and still have FSU, and a road trip to Georgia Tech to close out the season.

#4 Miami (7-1).
The Hurricanes undefeated season is over after their Week 9 loss to Georgia. Miami plays at G.T. in Week 10 and then host FSU, Florida and West Virginia to close out the year.

#5 Texas (7-1)
The Longhorns go their revenge over Baylor in Week 9, moving to 4-0 in Big 12 play, but still have Texas Tech,SMU, TAMU and a road trip @ #19 TCU to close out the year.

#6 Clemson (7-1)
The Tigers play (5-3) Syracuse this week then a road trip to (5-2) Maryland before finishing at home vs #12 (6-1) Duke and #18 (6-1) South Carolina.

#7 Oklahoma (7-1)
The Sooners have Bye Weeks in 10 & 11 before their matchup with #1 OSU. then close out their season against Kansas and K-State.

#8 Penn State (6-1)
The Nittany Lions face Northwestern and Indiana in the next 2 weeks but then have 3 straight games against Top-25 opponents to close out the season all on the road (Notre Dame, Illinois and PItt)

#9 Nebraska (6-2)
The Cornhuskers are the highest rated 2 loss team in the country. However 1 more loss and that could spell doom. The good news is (5-2) K-State and (4-4) Iowa are their toughest opponents left.

#10 Pitt (6-1)
The Panthers are coming off a win @ #25 Illinois but now host #15 Notre Dame in Week 10 and still have #8 Penn State in Week 14.

#11 Boise State (6-1)
The Broncos biggest challenge is this Week vs #17 Oregon . If they can win that, they should run the table and head back to the Pac-12 Championship with a great shot at moving up the rankings.

#12 Duke (6-1)
The Blue Devils will need to beat #18 South Carolina and #6 Clemson for any shot at the ACC North title and the ACC Championship which also would help their playoff chances.

#13 Alabama (6-1)
The Tide beat LSU in Week 9. Their biggest challenge left is probably the Iron Bowl vs a unranked Auburn squad that already has 3 loss's.

#14 Florida (7-0)
The Gators are our 2nd undefeated team in the country. but with #3 Georgia this week it might be their last. They still have road game @ #4 Miami and @ Florida State to close out their season.

#15 Notre Dame (5-2)
The Irish still got 3 must wins @#10 Pitt,, vs #8 Penn State and @ (5-2) USC to close out their year.. A 3rd loss and all playoff hopes are gone.

#16 Ole Miss (7-0)
The Rebels are our 3rd team that is still undefeated.. They have (4-4) Southern Miss in Week 10 then host #20 Tennessee in Week 11 before closing out their year with road trips @ (5-2) Louisville and @ (6-2) Miss State in the Egg Bowl..

#17 Oregon (7-1)
If the Ducks can beat BSU they could easily run the table and finish (11-1) and win the Pac-12 north. A loss against the Broncos could end their playoff hopes as even a (10-2) record might not be good enough to climb up the rankings to #12.

#18 South Carolina (6-1)
#19 TCU (5-2)
#20 Tennessee (6-1)
#21 Wisconsin (7-0) **Our final undefeated team. If they beat #2 Ohio State I could see them make some huge jumps in the rankings

BOISE STATE VS OREGON FOR ALL THE MARBLES!!!

GAME RECAP
The Boise State vs Oregon rivalry has become one of the most watched games in the nation as these 2 powerhouses battle both on the field and off the field for the Westcoast Kingdom and this year's matchup of #11 Boise and #17 Oregon didn't disappoint.

Known for their high power offenses, tonight's game started out as a Defensive battle, as Oregon picks off Tua Draft on the opening drive but the Bronco Defense holds the Ducks to a 33 yd FG.. BSU then marched down field quickly on series #2 only to have their drive stall in the redzone as they had to settle for a 27 yd FG to tie the game (3-3)..

Still tied (3-3), Boise State would again find their drive stall on a 3rd and goal as former Duck TE Jason Flaherty drops a 3rd and goal pass from Draft as BSU is once again forced to settle for a short FG making it (6-3).. Oregon answers back with their own FG to tie the game (6-6). midway through the 2nd Quarter. Oregon then picked off Draft for a 2nd time leading to the Ducks first touchdown of the game as they take the lead (13-6) with 2:14 to play but Draft bounces back from his 2 earlier INT's by find Tyler Crook on a 42 yd bomb to close out the 1st half as Boise State ties the game once again (13-13).

Oregon opened up the 2nd half with the ball but JR QB Santiago Vargas (92 ovr) finds Bronco CB Larry Halapio on a corner route for the INT, leading to the Broncos 3rd FG of the day as Diego Gutierrez give BSU the (16-13) lead.. Boise State would then force a quick 3 and out but Draft's 3rd INT of the night gives the ball right back. Oregon now with a 2nd chance drives the field looking to take the lead early in the 4th but instead settles for their 3rd FG of the day as they tie the game (16-16) with 6 minutes to play.

Despite 3 INT's Coach Miller doesn't sit his star QB sticking with Draft despite Iowa State transfer D'Andre Webb on the sideline.. Draft answers the call with as he finds Keilan Bettis who had been kept quite all night with just his 4 reception of the game as Bettis hauls in the 29 yd touchdown grab to give BSU the (23-16) lead.

Oregon would continue to struggle to move the ball against a fired up Bronco D as the Ducks are forced into going for it on 4th and 4 and BSU takes over on downs. Looking to work the clock Miller goes to the ground game and Brian Crum and the True Freshman delivers with his biggest run of the day as he breaks free for a 52 yd touchdown as Boise State extends the lead to (30-16) leaving 3:43 to play.

For Crum the run put him over 100 yds on the day in his first game back after missing the past 7 weeks with a injury.

The Boise State Defense still fired up with support from Bronco Nation would once again force a turnover on downs as BSU takes over with 2::32 to play.

Oregon still armed with all 3 timeouts would once again get a healthy dose of the Bronco run game and this time Crum and company worked the clock to perfection as they force all 3 timeouts before the 2 minute mark with short runs before BSU picks up the 1st down to extend the drive. Despite the 2 score lead Miller wasn't looking to just kill the clock with a knee but instead continued to run the ball but once inside the redzone, Miller dialed up a pass play as Draft rolls to his left and finds another True Freshman Jabari Neighbors out of the backfield for his first career reception as the 4* recruit hauls in the 9yd pass for his first career touchdown.

IMPACT FROM THE GAME

Despite their victory, Boise State actually drops in the rankings as they go from #11 to #12, as Duke jumps them moving from #12 to #11.
Oregon despite the loss only drops from #17 to #22.

BSU will host (2-7) Washington State in Week 11.

Also despite winning on the field, BSU also took another major hit in recruiting.. We Boise State did manage to land their 3rd commitment signing 4* LG Brenton Pride (#36 Overall/#5CA/#1) from Kentfield CA beating out Oregon and Arizona State... The Broncos also lost 3 players including a pair of 5* Recruits that included QB Ben Cherry.

The 5* Cherry (#10 Overall/#1MN/#2QB) had BSU #1 all season with Nebraska right behind.. Cherry visited BSU back in Week 6 but took a Week 10 visit to Lincoln and that sealed the deal as Cherry will now be a Husker. Boise State is still in the running for 5* QB Clayton McMullen and has a Week 12 visit scheduled with the New Jersey native but McMullen still has Illinois (Week 13) and Pitt (Week 14 as well as Penn State on his radar with all 3 schools offering.

5* RT Jarrad Erving (#30 Overall/#3 TN/#8 OT) also committed this week and will skip a Week 11 visit scheduled for Boise instead signing with Ole Miss this week as he watched the Rebels defeat Southern Miss.

4* WR Manny Canady (#158 Overall/#15 CA/#25 WR) also committed this week after taking a visit to Utah.. The 6'5 203 San Jose CA native will be a Ute.

With Canaday off the board, BSU is left with just 3 WR's left on their big board that includes 5* WR Eric Zentner (#24 Overall/#1IA/#2 WR) who will visit this week.. Zentner has Nebraska #2 and has a Week 14 visit scheduled with the Huskers.

#1 Oklahoma State moves to (8-0) defeating Iowa State (48-3) to keep pace ahead of the Buckeyes and Bulldogs in the poll

#4 Miami drops to #5 well on their "Bye" week, as #5 Texas moves up 1 spot after a (61-22) win over Texas Tech.

#6 Clemson stays put despite also being on their "Bye" well #7 Oklahoma drops to #8 well on their "Bye' with #9 Penn State moving up 1 spot to #7 with their (52-14) win over Northwestern.

#10 Pitt jumps Nebraska in the rankings as the Panthers defeat #15 Notre Dame (31-28).. The Cornhuskers move to (7-2) and #10 with a (31-6) win over FIU in a late non-conference matchup.

#12 Duke defeats NC State (38-27) as they move to (7-1) they jump Boise State in the rankings as BSU falls to #12.

#13 Alabama stays put after a (49-19) win over Arkansas

Ole Miss moves to (8-0) and jumps 2 spots from #16 to #14 , as they swamp spots with Florida.. The Rebels defeated Southern Miss (42-34)

#20 Tennessee makes a big jump this week moving up 5 spots to #15 taking Notre Dame's spot in the polls with a (35-28) win over Miss State

#22 Arizona State also moves up 5 spots going to #17 with their (41-35) win over #23 UCLA. With the loss the Bruins drop out of the Too-25.

(6-2) SMU jumps into the Top-25 this week at #20 with a (37-26) win over #19 TCU who falls out of the rankings.

Oklahoma's QB Lee Gooch still leads the Heisman race well Alabama QB David Cooke is still in the race at #4 but some new names/faces have joined him.

UConn WR Christian Horton is now #2.. Horton a Syracuse transfer who had just 15 career receptions and 224 yds and 3 TD's with the Orange moved to the Huskies this past offseason and is having a breakout year with 65 rec for 1019 yds with 18 TD's. He is joined by another WR in the Top-5.

Ole Miss's Thad Giguere has been a 4 year starter with the Rebels but 2030 has best season as he has posted 77 rec for 1083 yds and 11 TD.

South Alabama QB John Ekejiuba is currently #3.. Ekejiuba already has passed for 4000 yds in each of the past 2 seasons for the Jag's and he is well on his way to a 3rd as he has 2884 yds with 27 TD and just 1 INT so far. this season.

Yeah that was a must win in order to keep my playoff hopes alive. A loss and I don't think I would make it. At this point now that Arizona State beat UCLA it looks like the Pac-12 would be a rematch with the Sun Devils if we both win out. It's unlikely I will secure a 1st Round "Bye" so most likely I will be hosting in Round 1. and be playing the underdog roll in Round 2.
