SENIOR DAY!!!
GAME RECAP
It was an almost perfect half for SR QB D’Andre Webb.. The Iowa State transfer playing in his final game on “The Blue” got the start along with 20 other 19 other Seniors and these Seniors came to play.
Webb would go 22/29 for 300 yds and throw 3 TD’s and had the longest run of the day (34 yds)to lead BSU to a (45-7) lead in the 1s half.
True Freshman Brian Crum was held to just 10 yds on 5 carries but Crum did manage to score a touchdown to open the game Well Webb is in the running for POG honors, RB Jermarcus Boykins will give him a run for it as Boykins carries the ball 4 times for 21 yds including a 3 yd TD on the ground well also finishing the half with 6 rec for 56 yds and 2 TD’s earning the “Hat Trick”
The Senior Trio of T. Crook (6 rec 99 yds) K. Bettis (5 rec 85) both were key targets for Webb but it was fellow SR Dennis Moses (3 rec 63 yds 21.0 avg) who also make a big impression hauling in a 35 yd touchdown grab.
Moses the primary Kick and Punt return since arriving on campus also made a huge play on Special teams with a 35 KR to open up the game and a 83 yd punt return for a touchdown late in the 2nd Quarter.
The Offense and Special teams were not the only ones coming up big in the 1st Half. Not only did the Defense hold Utah to just 7 points but they gave up just 29 yds on the ground, sacked QB Earl Brady (82 ovr) 4 times well also forcing 2 turnovers (1 INT and 1 Fumble).
Boise State continued to showcase the Seniors in the 2nd half as FG Diego Gutierrez hits a FG from 50 yds out to extend the Broncos lead to (48-7) early in the 3rd Quarter then it was Jermarcus Boykins coming up big again scoring his 4th touchdown of the game as BSU extends the lead yet again (55-7)
Leading (55-7), BSU would insert RS Freshman Tyrone Waddle in at QB., as the former 3* Athlete get's his first action leading the team under center, as Webb gets a standing ovation from the home crowd. In his only BSU start of his career, Webb would finish the day 35/49 throwing for 458 yds and 3 TD's.
The Utah Defense still had no answers for the Boise State passing game as Waddle comes in and plays a almost perfect 4th Quarter completing 7/8 pass's for 95 yds and 2 touchdowns hitting both TE1 Josh Flaherty (16 yds) and TE2 Rodney Carney (13 yds) for scores.
After rushing the ball for just 10 yds in the 1st half, True Freshman Brian Crum had a huge 2nd half as he goes over 100 yds on the day finishing with 22 carries for 115 yds well scoring his 2nd touchdown.

IMPACT FROM THE GAME
With the win Boise State extends their home winning streak to 29 games . Boise State is now (9-1) Overall and (5-1) in Pac-12 play. BSU moves up 2 spots in the rankings to #8 with the win.
UP NEXT
Boise State will travel for it's final 2 games of the season with a Week 13 visit to Corvallis to take on the (2-8) Oregon State. The Beavers are (0-6) in Pac-12 play this season.
RECRUITING UPDATE
It was a big day in recruiting for Coach Miller as the Broncos sign 4 players bringing their total to 7 on the season..
5* CB Barry Stack (#15 Overall/#2 MI/#4 CB) joins Finley to give the Broncos a pair of 5* CB's who could be instant starters for a secondary who graduates 3 starters.

* Enrique Bartee (#1505 Overall/#130 CA/#37) joins them however Bartee will likely redshirt with the plans of pushing for a starting job in 2032.
4* TE Scott Fowler (#64 Overall/#11TX/#2TE) is a huge land.. Listed at 6'3 195lbs, Fowler is more of a receiver then a TE but he should do well as BSU has produced 3 of the last 5 John Mackey Award winners.
5* WR Eric Zenter #24 Overall/#1 IA/#2WR) is Iowa's Gatorade POY.. Listed at 6'3 187lbs, Zenter could very well replace Bettis or Crook in the starting lineup next season. Zenter was being recruited by both Nebraska (Week 14 visit) and Penn State but committed after spending the Weekend with Bettis/Crook/Moses on the sidelines.
