Just murked them. Can anyone stop you?
some say Tennessee. Caesar will say LSU. Soap will say Miami.

But the secret is, the only one that can stop us is internal :kghah:

Internal is the right choice. If you turn the ball over and make mental mistakes it's the easiest way to lose.

:yep: the slider change by canes is kicking my passing games ass. Meredith is completely erratic now, despite gaining DOT and Mobile Resistance badges in the offseason. Its a good thing I have the best offensive line in the country opening New York tunnel size holes for my HB :shifty:

Conway, SC. - The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers moved to 4–0 with a 45–21 win over the Tennessee Volunteers, and once again it was the defense — not the returning offensive firepower — that stole the show. Behind another dominant performance from their defensive front and key special teams plays, the defending champs continued to find ways to win even as their passing game sputters.

Outside of an 89-yard touchdown run by Tennessee’s Lee Kasa, the Volunteers offense was largely bottled up in the first half. Coastal’s offense wasn’t much sharper early, but a 36-yard burst by Fredrick McCollum set up a short keeper from quarterback Fredrick Meredith, and moments later defensive captain Anthony Atogwe scooped up a forced fumble from Alfonso Smith for a score. Coastal led 14–7 at the break despite a slow offensive start.

Tennessee briefly swung momentum out of halftime behind quarterback Quincy Walters, who connected twice with star wideout Deontray Treggs on deep shots to grab a 21–14 lead. But after a fiery sideline exchange between defensive coordinator Tony White and corner Emmanuel Abrams, the Chants’ defense responded with authority.

“Hold up a bit longer — we gon’ get to him again,” senior defensive end Alfonso Smith told Abrams afterward. Smith delivered on that promise, racking up three second-half sacks to finish with a school-record five on the day. Coastal piled up nine sacks total, completely suffocating the Vols offense the rest of the way.

The offense leaned on the ground game to close things out, with Cornell Jennings rushing for 129 yards and two touchdowns, while McCollum added 88 rushing and 55 receiving yards.

Quarterback Fredrick Meredith, meanwhile, continues to face scrutiny after another rough outing where he failed to throw a touchdown pass while tossing one to the other team.

“For all the talk about the extra work they put in, they just look out of sync — missed throws, off routes, bad timing,” noted the Coastal radio color commentator during the broadcast.

Head coach Kade Vaughn brushed off the criticism postgame. “We’ve faced some elite defenses to start this season,” Vaughn said. “Fred will be fine.”

The road doesn’t get any easier — Coastal heads to Tallahassee next week for an ACC showdown with 4-0 Florida State.

Pair of 5* Defenders Commit To Chants After Statement Win Over Volunteers

Image

Conway, SC. - Coastal Carolina’s defensive juggernaut shows no signs of slowing down, and head coach Kade Vaughn is quietly stacking the next wave of talent for the Teal Wall. Following the Chanticleers’ 45–21 win over Tennessee, linebacker David Kendricks and defensive end Eric DuBois wasted no time pledging their futures to Coastal, with both recruits committing immediately after returning home from their official visits to Conway.

“Can’t wait to be the next in line to rock that ICONIC #34 #ChantsUp #MakeReynaProud,” Kendricks posted on Instagram, alongside a photo of himself and defensive captain Anthony Atogwe on the Teal. DuBois chimed in on the same post: “I take the QB and you clean it up brodie #ScrazySZN.” Safety Caesar Batista also opted to bypass visits to Alabama and SMU, calling Vaughn directly to confirm he was joining the Chanticleers.

“It’s been surreal,” Vaughn said. “If you’d told me nine years ago we’d be stealing commitments from Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia, I’d have said, ‘of course we are.’ But to see this program evolve from fighting for Sun Belt 3-star recruits to competing for the nation’s elite? Unreal.”

Kendricks and DuBois both fit the mold of Vaughn and defensive coordinator Tony White’s aggressive 3-3-5 scheme, which thrives on pre-snap motion and unpredictable blitz packages. Kendricks brings the speed and instincts Vaughn covets at linebacker, able to make up for mistakes in a blink. DuBois is a more traditional bull-rusher, with explosive first-step quickness and “grown man” strength that promises to disrupt quarterbacks and carve lanes for Coastal’s pass-rushers for years to come.

Coastal now boasts three early commitments for the 2023 cycle, but the staff expects more. Cornerback Kevin Gutierrez, linebacker Warren Abiamiri (No. 3 overall), and athlete Josh Robbins (No. 5 overall) have Coastal atop their short lists, with official visits planned for the Week 6 matchup against Louisville. If the early signs are any indication, the Teal Wall’s next chapter is already taking shape.

Defense and Jennings seems to be bailing out Meredith so far.. 7 TD 4 INT but yet still4-0. But going to need a bigger and better game if you are going to beat FSU.

I am not sure I have enough free time to stay caught up on all the stats you provide.. Again hats off to you and this thread. So much detail and love the way you present it.
