I expected Bubba Mack to have some class and not run up the score on the team that gave him a shot.

i wasn't even trying to run it up, he got tackled into the endzone when i tried to run sideways lmao i just didn't want to take on negative rushing yards with a knee :kghah:

Stanford and the over
smart man
I’ve done enough deep dives into the rosters on this game to know Kennesaw’s roster is probably god awful after being AI controlled for a handful of years. :smart:

Crouse probably getting some good dev with them big cameo appearances
Former four-star prospectso trying to play high school players more. i feel like with the portal, they can get buried

Fuck, was going to take Stanford and the over. I'll get it next time. Trumaine wants that Heisman.
He was held to like 7 yards on his first four carries and then got hurt. Came back with a vengeance though

Stanford among finalist for two of the nation's top quarterback amid offensive spark
Chris Wallace -- 247Sports Stanford Football Insider

Stanford University has had some great quarterbacks in Jim Plunkett, John Elway, Andrew Luck and most recently, Tavien St. Clair. While the Cardinal offense has been centered around their running game under head coach Bubba Mack, Alex Rowe has been flawless in this year's offense and recruits are beginning to take notice.

The Cardinal are finalist for four-star quarterbacks Ben Radunz and JaMichael Jackson, both top 100-prospects and top six quarterbacks this cycle. Jackson released a top-five of Stanford, Notre Dame, LSU, Clemson and Oklahoma while Radunz released a top four of Stanford, Alabama, LSU and Clemson.

Quarterback recruiting is largely a series of domino and with LSU and Alabama seemingly going all in on five-star quarterback Alex Alfonso, the door is cracked for Stanford to potentially head into SEC country and land a talented arm like Radunz out of Alabama along with their hot start to the season.

Landing one of those talented arms would certainly continue a string of good fortune for Mack and his staff. They managed to replace St. Clair with an unproven transfer portal addition in Zach Hoppes who led them to the CFP and secure two playoff wins after the controversy with heir apparent Zach Ghee, who left Stanford for Michigan, only to not start.

Hoppes then followed in Ghee's footsteps, entering the transfer portal only to end up at UL Monroe where he lost the starting job. Rowe, meanwhile, has thrown for 638 yards and three touchdowns with no turnovers in his first two stars.

Players to Watch
Image QB Patrick Keener (R-Sr) | 6′4″, 226LBS | 89 OVR, 84 SPD, 88 ACC, 82 THP, 92 SAC, 91 MAC, 87 DAC
After being completely shutout in their first matchup last year, Keener had a bounce back performance against Stanford in the playoffs. The way that Stanford was able to slow him down was with their pass rush, sacking him seven times. The top pass rushers in that game? Troy Aldridge and Adam Shovlin, two seniors that are no longer on the team. Without this pass rush, Keener could be due for a big day.

Image HB Bobby Eby (Sr) | 5′10″, 214LBS | 90 OVR, 96 SPD, 96 ACC, 88 COD, 89 CAR, 89 BTK
A late bloomer that was used as a short-yardage back at Alabama and then SMU, scoring eleven touchdowns last year while averaging 3.3 yards per carry, Eby has emerged as a home-run hitter for the Mustang with a 52-yard touchdown this season. He's averaging 7.8 yards per carry with 198 yards coming after contact as he still has his physicality with now even more explosiveness and speed. Kennesaw State was able to run at times on this defense and Eby is more talented than anything Stanford has seen this year.

Image LB Keevon Ring (Jr) | 6′2″, 184LBS | 79 OVR, 89 SPD, 86 ACC, 76 TKL, 40 BSH, 78 MCV, 87 ZCV
The Mustangs feature two converted safeties at linebacker in Ring and Javonte Byler who weigh 184 and 209 pounds respectively. They're coming up against the nation's best rushing offense for the past two seasons and a 211-pound running back Trumaine Lasike who seeks and excels after contact.

Hard Rock Bet™
Spread: SMU -4.5
Moneyline: Stanford +165
Over: 63

Place your bets and I'll keep track of your winnings/loss throughout the season. At the end of the year, I'll either name a recruit after you or give your favorite team a ratings' bump or dealers' choice.
